Of course, he didn't mention anything about the God of Life and the God of Destruction—those were far too abstract and uncertain. Given that none of this happened in the original timeline, he wasn't ready to confirm anything just yet.
After listening to Huo Yuhao's theory, Electrolux fell into deep thought.
"This power of life... it far surpasses the life force I once knew to exist within Life Gold."
"And the destructive force... yes, it truly feels like Destruction."
"But what I find strange is... why would such powers become entangled with you, little Yuhao?"
Huo Yuhao said nothing. He had a few guesses of his own, but none were ready to be voiced yet.
The more important question was—would these two forces, especially Destruction, harm him?
The life force clearly held great benefits. That much didn't worry him.
It was the Destruction energy, the kind that induced fear just by looking at it, that made him hesitate.
"So, Elder Yi, in our original plan, I was supposed to fuse with this piece of Life Gold, right?"
"Indeed, Yuhao. The Life Gold would open a space between your brows—a Life Eye—where I could rest and gradually restore my true body using the life energy it provides."
"Moreover, the Life Eye would greatly stabilize your spiritual sea, granting it a nearly indestructible quality. It could even passively heal your injuries over time."
Huo Yuhao nodded thoughtfully.
So not fusing with it now, after the change, would be a huge loss... but after its mutation, should he still proceed?

With both Skydream and the Ice Empress offering their opinions, Electrolux gave his final suggestion:
"In my view, Yuhao, you should try to absorb the mutated Life Gold. We can't predict the result, but I believe the benefits will far exceed what we originally expected from the Life Eye. After all, you are the child of fate on this continent."
Huo Yuhao was silent for a moment before nodding firmly.
"Alright. I'll do it. I'll fuse with this mutated Life Gold."
Electrolux smiled in approval.
"Such decisiveness. Very good. Since you've made up your mind, I'll do everything I can to assist you. If anything goes wrong, even if I have to burn away the last of my soul, I'll help you survive this."
"Pick it up and press it to your forehead, Yuhao."
Deeply moved by Electrolux's words, Huo Yuhao stepped forward and carefully picked up the blade.
The moment he held it, the vibrant life energy surged into his body. He felt like his entire being was undergoing a divine cleansing—it was indescribably refreshing.
But what surprised him even more was that after the purification, the Destruction energy that once terrified him... now felt oddly familiar.
Encouraged by this, Huo Yuhao pressed the Life Gold to his forehead without hesitation. Upon contact, a warm, gentle aura spread over him. Electrolux immediately guided the torrent of life energy into Huo Yuhao's body through his spiritual sea.
In that moment, Huo Yuhao's entire body glowed a lush green—even his spiritual sea was filled with emerald light. The life energy was so overwhelming that even Skydream and the Ice Empress's spiritual signatures were briefly drowned out.
Every inch of his body shivered in delight. Huo Yuhao could feel every cell greedily absorbing the life energy. His organs, bones, and meridians became stronger, more elastic—he could feel himself undergoing some kind of evolution at the very level of life itself.
What exactly the benefits were, he wasn't sure yet—but he knew it was monumental.
But then—it happened.
The moment none of them wanted to face arrived.
As he basked in the warmth of life, the Life Gold suddenly detached itself from his forehead. Floating in the air, the blade's tip pointed downward... right at his brow.
At its tip, violet light began to gather—Destruction.
Before he could react, the blade plunged down and stabbed straight into his skull. The destructive energy surged through his bones and muscles in an instant. The pain was so absolute, so consuming, it felt like all of him was being destroyed.
His awareness plunged into darkness, slipping deeper and deeper into the void.
'I... I can't die like this.'
But he couldn't move. Couldn't resist.
Against Destruction, all mortals could do... was die.
'I have to think. I have to try!'
But Electrolux, Skydream, the Ice Empress—he could feel none of them. In this abyss, he was alone.
'So... it's all up to me.'
The pain dragged him into near-unconsciousness, and if he lost awareness here, it would be the same as death.
But then—a flicker of light.
'Wait. Ice and Fire. Destruction and Life. Coexistence...!'
He had nearly forgotten. He had absorbed so much life force. Surely it hadn't just vanished?
Clinging to that thread of hope, Huo Yuhao mustered the last ounce of willpower and activated the life energy within him.
And instantly—a golden light blazed through the void.
'Let there be light.'
That line from the Bible randomly popped into his mind.
Seeing that light, it was like entering a trance—a sudden awakening. His mind, soul, and spirit surged forward in growth. It was a breakthrough, an epiphany.
The golden light split in two—green and purple. Life and Destruction.
Together, they lifted Huo Yuhao upward—away from the void, toward life.
As he felt himself rising from death back to reality, he gasped for breath like a man pulled from the bottom of the ocean.
Opening his eyes, Huo Yuhao found himself back in his room. He could sense Electrolux, Skydream, and the Ice Empress once more.
'Looks like... I made it through.'
"Yuhao! You're finally awake! You scared your big brother Skydream to death, you know? Waaaah!"
A huge bug-shaped spirit tackled him into a teary embrace, startling Huo Yuhao half to death.
"Skydream? What are you doing...?"
He glanced around and saw the humanoid forms of both the Ice Empress and Electrolux nearby.
Ice Empress let out a relieved sigh and explained.
"The moment that blade stabbed your forehead, you passed out. Green and purple light kept pulsing all over your body, and no matter how we tried, we couldn't wake you."
Electrolux added,
"Even so, the Life Gold kept fusing into your brow. That gave us hope you were still alive. And when the fusion completed... you woke up."
Indeed, it was fully fused.
Huo Yuhao could feel it—between his brows, a new eye had been formed. The Life Eye.
