[The mission will now start its countdown. 00:59…58…57…56…]
This time, though longer, the time limit was only one minute!! Ji Yunhe nearly passed out from the rage and injustice.
'How am I supposed to find the big brother in this weakened state? I can't even properly move my limbs! Moreover, where am I going to find him in a minute?'
System: [Host, your big brother is merely downstairs, waiting to surprise you with his meticulously prepared gift. As for your weakened state…]
[Adjustments have been justifiably made. The weakened state will be momentarily lifted, since it was justifiable for the identity to regain her strength and vitality whenever there's a chance to cause trouble for her cheap brothers.]
'You can even do that?' Though offended, Ji Yunhe couldn't spare the time to bicker with the unreliable system.
She shot off the bed, put on her slippers, and shuffled down the spiralling stairs, ignoring the horrified screams of the worriedly frightened Third Brother, who immediately frantically chased after her.
"Yunyun, where are you going? Wait for Third Brother!"
Having been thoroughly drenched all over, Mo Xinhuai couldn't help but shiver against the violently assaulting cold wind. However, he didn't dare to slow down his footsteps.
His sickly little sister, who was supposed to be as weak as chicken, was suddenly running so fast as if she had been caught on fire.
What if she accidentally missed a step and stumbled down the stairs? What if she hit her head upon the collision and damaged her already problematic brain even more?
Afterall, she was never quite right in the head from the very beginning.
Mo Xinhuai tried to grab Ji Yunhe's arms but continuously failed to do so whenever he was so close to catching her. Unbeknownst to him, Ji Yunhe didn't even notice his presence.
At this moment, her thoughts were completely occupied with only one thing.
'I'm going to rip big brother into pieces. I'm going to rip big brother into pieces. I'm going to rip big brother into pieces.'
No matter what, in no way was she going back to the despicable Jis.
The system carefully corrected her, [Host, you're supposed to rip the gift apart and not the big brother.]
Ji Yunhe inwardly rolled her eyes. 'Whatever. What does the big brother even look like?'
[Rich, tall, and handsome, the big brother Mo Xingchen dresses the flashiest among the three brothers.]
'How am I going to identify him with such shallow pointers?' was what she was about to say, until her dog eyes were nearly blinded by the practically shining and shimmering man standing on the bottom of the stairs.
What in a real-life breathin nouveau riche mascot was this?
Noticing her incoming figure, Mo Xingchen looked over with a crooked smile on his face, the streaks of gold painting his sleeves, wrists, fingers, and neck reflecting thousands of light.
Although the three brothers shared similar facial features that gave them a sort of devilishly handsome look, one that was both enticing but too dangerous to touch, Mo Xingchen's beauty wasn't as polished as Mo Yuning's cold jade looks nor as fiery and passionate as Mo Xinhuai's sunshine appearance.
Ji Yunhe just couldn't put a finger on what he was akin to. Her gaze quickly swept from his striking appearance to the 24k golden piglet in his arms.
Was that supposed to be the gift the vulgar big brother had meticulously prepared for her?
A piglet statue made out of pure gold! How was she going to smash it to pieces??
Ji Yunhe doubted that it would work. However, as the time limit trickled to mere 3 seconds, her veins tightened and without much thought, she snatched the shimmering shining splendid golden piglet and raised it high in the air, before thrusting it hard against the marble floor with all her might.
At this moment, Mo Xinhuai had just caught up to her tail and the freshly-dressed Mo Yuning, approaching the two, when the exquisite marble floor shook with a loud "crack!"
With a look of pain and despair on their handsome faces, the two brothers moved their gazes to Mo Xingchen's dark as ink face, then to the innocent deer-like eyes of their young and lovely sister.
The two were quick to make their decision, pulling the shocked and silent Ji Yunhe behind their backs and blaming their elder brother with not the slightest bit of guilt.
"Big Brother, how can you be so careless? How can you carry such a heavy stone around and even nearly drop it on the little sister? Fortunately, the little sister is good at dodging and reverted the damage to the cheap floor instead."
Mo Xingchen and his 'cheap' marble floor: "..."
The wrongfully-accused big brother's face turned red, green, then blue, looking oh so colourful, before it once again returned to the original black.
"You guys…" Mo Xingchen seethed in suppressed rage, "Mo Yunhe, you unruly brat…"
Mo Xinhuai and Mo Yuning furiously shook their heads, giving signals with their strangely twitching eyes not to further trigger the mentally-ill little sister of this moment.
Understanding their begging signals, Mo Xingchen finally released a helpless sigh, his fists loosening as he took in the confused look on the subtly quivering girl's pale face.
With patience as vast as the ocean, Mo Xingchen bent his back, took the spotless fallen piglet to his arms, and rubbed its glowing surface with care, the sound of clinking golds echoing with his every movement.
Ji Yunhe examined the piglet in his arms with a blank face, realizing that she had failed the mission.
The piglet wasn't hurt the slightest. Instead, a whole good piece of marble was shattered upon the impact, leaving behind a ghastly 30-cm-long crater in diameter.
Subsequently, her two hands grabbed on the available clothes in front of her. Ji Yunhe squeezed her eyes shut in despair, afraid that the next time she opened them, her vision would be filled with the mocking sniggers of the Jis.
Her action attracted Mo Yuning and Mo Xinhuai's attention. "Yunyun, what's wrong? Are you feeling unwell–"
The voices around her gradually turned low and incomprehensible, as if she was slowly being pulled into a different dimension until, "Ding!" She heard the mission's prompt ring against her ears.

Caught off guard, Ji Yunhe unconsciously nodded and without any warning, she was welcomed into a world of pitch black darkness.
