Chapter 13 - 13. Moon Goodness true intentions

AT THE SAME TIME

SELENE'S POINT OF VIEW:

High above the garden, nestled in the heart of my domain, I watch the scene unfold with a smile curling at my lips. Moonlight drapes over everything like silver lace, illuminating the trio below, Jaxon, fierce and possessive, cradling Xavier's fragile form in his arms, and Michael, bold and unyielding, stepping in with that sharp cheddar scent clinging to him like a second skin. Perfect. Absolutely perfect.

I lean back on my moonstone throne, fingers tracing lazy patterns across the cool surface. Bringing Xavier here had been… inspired. A straight omega plucked from the mundane world and thrust into mine. It wasn't just a shift, it was a rebirth. He had no idea how rare he was, how precious. And already, two Alphas were circling him like wolves to fresh blood.

Jaxon had fallen first, predictably. His need to protect, to possess, it blazed bright the moment he laid eyes on Xavier. But Michael? That had been a delightful surprise. Their bond, old and tested, now stretched to accommodate a third. And not just any third, an unbroken omega, untouched by this world's cruel hands.

"Oh, how sweetly you struggle." I mused, voice a whisper that drifts like smoke through the night. "Two alphas, one stubborn little omega... and all the time in the world to watch it unfold."

I wave a hand, and the surface of the moonstone ripples, displaying scenes of their past, the moment Xavier stumbled into my grasp, his desperate attempt to escape, and Michael's eyes catching him just before he vanished. The hunger. It had simmered beneath Michael's skin since that very moment, though he'd tried to deny it. But I knew better. I always did.

"And now." I purr, fingers tapping in satisfaction. "My straight little omega is already desired by not one, but two Alphas. Isn't destiny amusing?"

I close my eyes, leaning back with the satisfaction of a well played game.

"Fight for him. Claim him. I want to see just how far you'll go…"I smirked in delight.

I lean back in my moonstone throne, draping one leg over the other as I watch the scene unfold through my enchanted mirror. Silver light spills across its surface, shimmering with each movement below. Jaxon cradles Xavier carefully, arms locked around him like he's the most delicate thing in the world. Michael walks beside him, his grin sharper than a blade, eyes never leaving the omega's sleeping form. The scent of their possessiveness, one sharp and wild, the other bold and lingering, drifts up to me like a whisper of incense. Delicious.

"Look at you two." I coo, fingers tapping lightly on the edge of the mirror. "Already so protective... so territorial." I chuckle, low and smooth. "And you barely even know what you're fighting for."

Jaxon and Michael move up the stone steps, bodies tense but synchronized, carrying Xavier like he's their shared secret. My fingers drum lightly against the glass, and the surface ripples, shifting from their faces to lines of silver threaded code, suspended in the ether. The 'Timeline Interface'. My masterpiece.

"Ah, there you are." I whisped, eyes flaring with delight as I reached out and brush the glyphs with my fingertips.

I flick my wrist, and the strands spin, shimmering with potential. I catch hold of the segment labelled 'original orientation: fixed - heterosexual. It pulses stubbornly, glowing with resistance. I smile, tracing my finger along the line.

"Oh, you're trying so hard to hold on to that, aren't you?" I mused, voice dripping with amusement. "But I'm afraid... that just won't do."

I slide my fingertip across the strand, and the timeline reacts, spreading out and displaying fragments of memory, Xavier's life before he was dragged into my domain, flashes of resistance, that rigid certainty of self.

"Let's smooth those edges, shall we?"I laughed lightly.

I call forth a shimmering thread labelled 'instinctual attraction' and twist it gently around the orientation strand, watching the silver light pulse and hum. It flares, bright and wild, as if resisting, but I press my palm flat against it, channelling raw lunar magic straight into its core.

"There you go…"I whispered, voice almost tender. "Open. Just a little. Enough to let the instincts breathe... enough to let you feel what you're supposed to."

I flick my wrist, and the threads weave tighter, adjusting themselves with graceful precision. The light smooths out, settling into a gentle, thrumming pulse. The mirror ripples, snapping back to the scene of Jaxon and Michael stepping into the estate, Xavier nestled against Jaxon's chest, utterly oblivious. I watch with satisfaction, my fingers brushing the cool glass.

"You'll understand soon enough, my little omega. They were made for you. All I did was... help you realize it."I smiled proudly. "It seems that it's starting to work, I can not wait to see what you will do when you begin to realize your feelings for your alpha's little one."

I tap the mirror twice, and it shimmers, locking the changes in place. The timeline glows for a moment longer before settling back into its steady rhythm, the threads stronger, more unyielding than before. Perfectly designed. Jaxon and Michael disappear behind the estate doors, their footsteps echoing through the halls. I lean back with a pleased sigh, fingers drumming against the armrest. I was sure that alphas soon will notice the diff and they will be delighted to see that their omega is noticing them.

"Run, fight, resistance if you want…" I smiled wider, eyes glimmering with mischief. "But fate's already decided. I just gave it a little nudge. I am sure if needed, I can give you some more as long as I make you a perfect omega designed to fit and flourish inside this world."

The mirror dims, but my satisfaction lingers. This was only the beginning, and I was going to enjoy every second of it. I was sure that the moment I brought Xavier into my world, I could make him the perfect little omega who could save anyone.
