Chapter 7: The Desolate Forest
Kiyoshi knew that he had attracted a lot of attention with his recent actions. He had killed several powerful Masters, and he knew that an Investigation Master would soon come to investigate the matter.
To avoid detection, Kiyoshi knew that he had to run and hide. He left the city behind and ventured into a desolate forest, where he hoped to remain undetected.
The forest was a vast and treacherous place, filled with unknown creatures and mythical beasts. Kiyoshi navigated the dense foliage, his senses on high alert as he searched for food and shelter.
He had not eaten for days, and his stomach growled with hunger. As he walked, he spotted a bunch of monkeys in the distance. His eyes locked onto them, and he stalked them quietly.
With a swift movement, Kiyoshi pounced on the monkeys, his claws extended. The monkeys screeched and struggled, but Kiyoshi was too strong. He killed them quickly, and then devoured their flesh.
The meal gave him the strength he needed to continue his journey. Kiyoshi searched for shelter, knowing that he couldn't keep wandering the forest without rest.
As he walked, he spotted a cave in the distance. He approached it cautiously, his senses on high alert. The cave seemed deserted, and Kiyoshi decided to take shelter there.
As he entered the cave, Kiyoshi noticed that it was not an ordinary cave. There was a strange aura emanating from deep within the cave, an aura that seemed to pulse with dark energy.
Kiyoshi's curiosity was piqued, and he decided to explore the cave further. He walked deeper into the cave, his eyes adjusting to the darkness.
As he turned a corner, Kiyoshi saw a skeleton lying on the ground. The skeleton was old and decrepit, but it was clear that it had once been a powerful warrior.
In the skeleton's hand was a book, bound in black leather and adorned with strange symbols. Kiyoshi's eyes locked onto the book, and he felt a surge of curiosity.
