Chapter 30 - Where Lies Cannot Live

The door's normal sounds of gears turning and metal whirring were much quieter—tiptoeing like a child scared to awake their parents. The air, in contrast, blew out the room and through the group like the frantic pattering of a beast being pursued by a venomous predator. 

Like whatever was in the room was far too dangerous a presence to be near.

Carefully, Revian stepped into the premises, eyeing the walls for their varying decor.

The walls were a cool silver, made in magic material Revian wasn't entirely familiar with. It stood firmly like paint, but vibrated and glowed vibrantly like it'd been infused with magical essence. 

A craft taught in the University, and one he wasn't entirely foreign to learning.

On one wall, golden embroidery as abundant as the Great Northern Sea settled along the corner between the wall and ceiling, elliptical jewelry donning exotic treasures plastered right next to them.
