"I didn't say that," Caelistra said, staring into him blankly. "But I am saying is that as of right now, you should exercise precaution. For that matter, the fact that you're alive right now means that the purpose of that curse may not be to immediately end your life."
"But still, he's a walking, ticking bomb?" Varek asked, standing next to Revian carefully.
"Perhaps—for that, he should be kept under my observation. I'll watch him closely from this point forward, making sure that whatever threat he faces may be dispelled." Her hand flagged in the air almost playfully, fingers coiling like a witch giving a crystal ball reading.
