Chapter 166 - Chapter 166: Casino

"It's already pretty good."

Seeing Tsunade looking disappointed, Kawaki tried to comfort her.

"Yeah, I was being greedy."

Tsunade recorded the results of the experiment one by one.

Kawaki also looked curiously, but all the results were technical terms. He was almost clueless.

Finally, Tsunade dropped some unknown liquid into the petri dish with that finger and then carefully put it away.

"Is that it?"

Kawaki thought Tsunade couldn't wait to conduct some tests.

"If you don't understand, don't worry about it."

Tsunade wiped the test bench and gave Kawaki a disdainful look.

Explaining it to this layman would really wear her out.

"I'm just curious."

Kawaki scratched his head awkwardly, feeling despised by Tsunade.

"Let's go. Take me home."

Tsunade took off her white coat and put it away, then actively took Kawaki's hand.

She knew there was a Flying Thunder GodFlying Thunder God mark left by Kawaki in her home, but she just hadn't found it yet.

"Okay."

Kawaki didn't use the Flying Thunder GodFlying Thunder God as she expected.

He just grabbed her hand and walked out.

"Do you have to be so lovey - dovey?"

Tsunade saw through Kawaki's little thoughts and scratched his palm with her finger.

"No, I'm running low on Chakra."

Kawaki quickly came up with a very lame excuse.

"Do you think I'll believe that?"

Tsunade glared at him angrily; she was not satisfied with this answer.

"Hehe~"

Kawaki grinned and held her hand even tighter.

After they left the research room, they appeared inside the hospital.

"Tsunade, do you want to check the accounts?"

Looking at the patients and staff coming and going, Kawaki joked with Tsunade.

"Sure."

Tsunade immediately agreed, and the light in her eyes was even brighter than when she saw that finger.

"I was just joking."

Kawaki covered his forehead, thinking this woman was a lost cause!

"I just want to take a casual look."

Dragged forcefully by Tsunade, Kawaki went to the finance office with her.

They pushed the door open and saw a middle - aged woman wearing glasses organizing the accounts.

"Boss, Lord Kawaki."

The woman was startled. Fortunately, she hadn't done anything dishonest.

"Sorry for the sudden visit. Did we scare you?"

"I just want to see the recent revenue situation."

Tsunade put it more politely. She shook off Kawaki's hand and walked over with a look of gold coins in her eyes.

"Just tell her how much we've earned during our absence."

Kawaki was too lazy to beat around the bush and directly stated Tsunade's real purpose.

"Um, okay."

The woman took out the general ledger, opened it, and glanced at it.

She reported a figure which satisfied Tsunade.

"Can I withdraw three million first?"

Tsunade leaned on the table with both hands, her face close to the accountant.

"Y - yes."

The accountant took a step back in fright. After all, this hospital was basically Tsunade's.

She didn't need anyone's permission to withdraw some money.

"Okay, hurry up."

Kawaki could already tell from her impatient voice. He could predict what Tsunade would do next.

It seems I won't be able to go back home anymore.

The accountant stood up and opened the safe. He counted out three million banknotes and put them into a bag, then handed it to Tsunade.

"Here is exactly three million ryo. Please take it."

"Haha, Kawaki, Sister will take you to have fun."

Tsunade's laughter seemed a bit strange.

In the accountant's stunned gaze, Kawaki was pulled up and flew out of the door horizontally.

"Don't I have any face?"

Kawaki finally managed to stabilize his figure, and they had already left the hospital.

Tsunade was extremely familiar with the way to the casino.

Before long, she brought Kawaki to the most luxurious casino in Konoha.

Even though it was almost mealtime, there were still a constant stream of people here.

"How about we have dinner first and then come back to play?"

Kawaki was a bit resistant. He didn't really like gambling. He only said he did in order to get close to Tsunade.

"No, I want to play right now."

Tsunade didn't give Kawaki a chance to refuse again, and they entered the casino.

"Here comes a big spender."

Someone murmured, and Kawaki felt all the eyes were on him.

Tsunade was obviously used to it and went straight to her favorite game.

The gamblers sensibly made way for her.

"Watch me dominate the place."

Tsunade took out the money and put it on the table in front of her. She never considered that someone might covet the money.

Who would dare to be so reckless?

"Come on, I want to live a few more years."

Kawaki spoke so softly that no one could hear him.

"What did you say?"

Tsunade turned her gaze from the dice, which proved that Kawaki still held an important position in her heart.

"Nothing. I mean you should win more."

Kawaki said something insincerely and took a few banknotes from Tsunade. He usually didn't carry much money with him.

"Just watch."

Tsunade seemed to have inexplicable confidence, as if she could really win money.

"Bet big with me this round. I have a feeling we'll definitely win."

Tsunade shamelessly asked Kawaki to bet with her.

"Forget it. I'll just watch first."

Kawaki waved his hand quickly. He was still counting on the little money in his hand to get his capital back.

Three million is still a lot of money!!

As expected, Tsunade lost the bet.

Kawaki didn't quite believe it at first, but after seeing Tsunade's regretful face after each round, he realized that there really was someone so unlucky.

Even if the casino was cheating, they couldn't win like this. Tsunade only lost money and never won a single round.

He gradually noticed that more and more people were gathering around the gambling table. Some people wanted to squeeze in but couldn't.

He even noticed a few ninjas, smirking at him while betting against Tsunade.

It turned out they were all here to pick up money. No wonder there were more and more people.

"Why are you just watching? Place your bet."

Tsunade was gradually getting into the game. Her hair was a bit messy, and her expression was a bit impatient.

"Bet, bet."

Kawaki finally saw Tsunade's side as a gambling - addicted ninja. No wonder it's a hobby that Hashirama cultivated in her since childhood.

"Bet with me this time. It's a cinch."

Tsunade looked very serious, as if she was staking her dignity.

"Okay.

Kawaki responded in a deep voice. Under Tsunade's expectant gaze, he placed his bet on the opposite side.

On Tsunade's side, she was the only one left with bargaining chips, and no one else was willing to bet with her.

"You don't have faith in me."

"No, I'm just testing the waters."

Kawaki would never admit that he simply didn't trust Tsunade's luck at gambling.

"You'll regret this."

When the dice cup was opened, Tsunade saw that she had lost again.

By now, more than half of the three million in front of her was gone. In this big casino, money was lost at a much faster rate.

"I should have brought more."

Tsunade muttered with a sigh.

Hearing this, Kawaki began to regret it. He should have used the Flying Thunder GodFlying Thunder God to take Tsunade home earlier.

What a stupid idea to pursue this so - called romance! Now look where we've ended up.

We've ended up at the casino for this crazy adventure.

"Shall we go back after we lose all our money?"

Kawaki tentatively asked Tsunade and put away the money he had just won.

"Absolutely not. I'm here to win."

Tsunade gave Kawaki a somewhat menacing look. Why was he always saying such unlucky things?

"Fine. Keep trying to win."

Kawaki couldn't beat her, so he had to give in. He just wanted to see how long it would take for her to lose all her money.

...

As the money in front of Kawaki piled up, Tsunade finally lost all her bargaining chips.

She stared longingly at Kawaki, practically begging him to give her some more money.

"That's enough for today. Let's come back another day."

Unable to bear looking into her eyes, Kawaki quickly put away the money.

"But I haven't had enough fun yet."

Tsunade's eyes were a bit red. She's really gone wild with gambling and is desperate to win back the money.

"Grandma is waiting for you at home."

Kawaki brought up Mito. Probably only her name could restrain Tsunade.

"Um, okay then."

Tsunade reluctantly agreed.

To prevent any unexpected situations, Kawaki grabbed Tsunade's hand and disappeared from in front of the gambling table.

The next second, they were at the Senju mansion, appearing right in Tsunade's room.

He really hadn't changed his lecherous ways!

"Nice choice of location. Why didn't you just teleport us to the bed?"

Tsunade let go of Kawaki's hand, her eyes full of teasing.

After leaving the casino, she stopped dwelling on her losses.

"Haha, that would have been too presumptuous."

Kawaki even made himself laugh.

"Pfft~"

Tsunade was too lazy to pay him any attention and headed towards the door.

Kawaki put the money on the table and followed Tsunade. He had almost won back all the money they had lost.

The two headed towards the dining room. By now, it was already past the meal time.

As they passed through the living room, they were caught by Mito.

Mito wrinkled her nose at the obvious smell on their bodies.

"How much did you lose?"

"Ah~ Not much. I was just having some fun."

Tsunade was like a child caught doing something wrong, laughing it off in the hope of getting away with it.

She also tugged at Kawaki's sleeve, hoping he would come to her rescue.

"I won it back."

Kawaki had to speak up to help her, or he would be in big trouble himself.

"You didn't pick up the good traits from your grandfather, but you've mastered this bad habit to a tee."

When Mito mentioned Hashirama, her eyebrows twitched a few times.

If it weren't for her, the Senju clan would have disappeared long before Tobirama disbanded it.

"Grandma, I'm hungry. Let's go have a meal first," Tsunade said and quickly pulled Kawaki away in a hurry to retreat. Generally, when Grandpa was mentioned, Grandma wouldn't have the time to be angry with herself.

"I'm so mad! When I find you, I'll give you a good beating to vent my anger," Mito complained deeply. Hashirama, far away in the Pure Land, probably shivered a few times.

"Have you ever been beaten for gambling?" Kawaki asked Tsunade curiously. Judging from Mito's performance just now, she should have been beaten a lot.

"It's none of your business," Tsunade got angry all of a sudden, recalling the scene of being spanked on Grandma's lap when she was a child.

"Ha ha, I got it. I won't ask anymore," Kawaki knew he was right when he saw her reaction.

"Don't eat. Just starve," Tsunade glared at him and went to the dining room first and sat down.

Soon, the servants brought in the food.

Kawaki also started to eat regardless. Tsunade didn't really stop him from eating, but she just ignored him.

"I'll come to see you tonight," Kawaki shamelessly moved closer to Tsunade and whispered.

"Do you think my grandma is a useless person?" Tsunade's words left Kawaki speechless.

The Mind's Eye of the Kagura of the Uzumaki clan is one of the strongest sensor Ninjutsu in the Ninja World. Kawaki didn't want to have a live broadcast.

He had to give up the idea of stealing a kiss; placing those Flying Thunder God marksFlying Thunder God marks was in vain.

The smell on his body really made him uncomfortable, so he left without staying long after the meal.
