The enraged Qin Ancestor launched his attack furiously without caring about the surroundings. He did not go all out but used his strongest single-target technique which was also one on the best technique of the sect made by its Founder himself.
Xian Li, now reduced to a Low-Tier Immortal could not catch up with the speed of Qin Ancestor.
Qin Ancestor released the attack and it headed straight towards Xian Li but before it could destroy Xian Li, something shocking happened which was done by someone.
Emerging from the dust was the shadow of the protector of Xian Li, Wang Li!
"Master Xian Li! Crush it!!!!"
"This...."
Xian Li was suprised by this.
How did he stop the attack and still survived?!!
Everyone was shocked, gaping at Wang Li. The enraged Qin Ancestor was so angry that he could not contain his anger anymore.(he wasn't even trying to, before.)
"Don't worry! I will be okay! You just break that jade and go! NOW!!!"
Xian Li initially did not plan on using it but considering the circumstances, and Wang Li's such determination, he decided to go for it and break the stone.
He took out a small stone-sized jade and was about to break it when suddenly an attack came towards him. It was from the Sect Master of The Peak Sect!
The Sect Master could not wait standing and soing nothing when an enemy was about to escape, so he decided to intervene without permission of the Ancestor.
But that attack did not go towards Xian Li, of perhaps it did but narrowly missed it. This was because the prisoners or rebels who were tied to chain came rushing towards the Sect Master and jumped on him while he was about to attack. While they were not able to do much because of their spiritual power being sealed off and Sect Master's Supreme Immortal's strength, this small help saved Xian Li;s life.
Xian Li, then did not waste a single moment thinking and broke that jade stone.
As soon as Xian Li crushed the jade, a blinding light burst out of it. Strange runes floated in the air, glowing and spinning around him.
He suddenly felt pain. Terrible pain!
His immortal power, the cultivation he had worked so hard to gain over centuries, started leaving his body. The light from the jade pulled it all in, draining his strength like water flowing into a bottomless pit.
"Urgh!"
Xian Li cried out, falling to one knee. His body shook as the strength of an Immortal was ripped away. Still he didn't stop it, as it was the only way to live.
Just before the light fully took him, he looked up and saw Wang Li, battered and burned, almost dead by the Qin Ancestor's attack yet still standing with a proud smile.
"Live, Master Xian Li," he said. "You must live..."
Then, with a flash of golden light, Xian Li vanished into thin air.
The battle field fell silent. Everyone stood frozen. Even the Qin Ancestor couldn't believe it. He screamed in rage, but it was useless now.
Xian Li was gone.
