The Highest acheivable realm in this era was the Celestial Monarch Realm and the higher realms were considered to be a myth. It was also beleived that there were more higher realm but most beleived it to be just a fantasy.
Xian Li was at the peak of the Celestial Monarch Realm, finding a way to break thorough into the next realm, The Empyrean Sovereign.]
Xian Li's eyes opened!
Unexpectedly, in front of his eyes was a wall with different antiques which was completely different from the 'prison' he was supposed to be in.
He remembered the place.
It was his room where he lived while the construction of his palace was underway. It was built at a very secret place and nobody knew about it except for Xian Li.
He looked foe his Celestial Blade only to be dissapointed which was to be expected. He looked at himself in the mirror and saw that his body had become pale.
"So, it was real and it is real." He sighed.
But he knew that this was the eventual end that everyone had to reach.
He decided to roam in the world after all 10 years had passed. Even if it was not considerable amount for him, but many things can happen in a year, let alone 10 years.
He walked slowly to the edge of the cliff that overlooked the valley.
"I should've vanished that day,"
he muttered, fingers brushing his chest where the weight of the Celestial Blade once rested. It was gone now, along with the part of him that once blazed like a star.
Still, the world called to him.
He concealed his presence, his cultivation already at the bottom. He would walk not as the Heavenly Sword, not as the holder of the Celestial Blade—but as a nameless wanderer. A ghost in a world that once revered him.
But he then realized his mistake, he could not change his face. Almost everyone knew how he looked. But, he decided to announce his return. And see if he could still fight someone above his realm with his unmatched techniques.
But before his return, He must train! Train harder!
Then, he remembered something. His Sect, The Peak Sect.
He did not know what happened to them after he vanished without a trace. So, he decided to visit them.
"Let's see how they are doing."
A faint smile appeared on his face as he remembered the days of his journey from being a mere outer sect disciple to one of their ancestors.
This journey took 2 months as he was not going towards a branch of the sect but the Main Sect. But on his journey, he heard rumours about him returning.
"Am I found?"
He asked himself. Then the one who found me mush have also noticed my strength. But one when he was passing from a city, he heard about the situation of The Peak Sect. It was now the largest sect in collaboration with the ones who he considered his enemies.
He heard another devastating news.
He was stripped of his position as an Ancestor and the ones who protested against it were being ecxecuted today.
"No! I can't let this happen."
He had just reached the city where the Main Peak Sect was situated. He rushed towards the entrance of the Sect.
The Peak Sect.
Few guards were standing and talking among themselves.
"Ha! Finally those rebels are going to die now! They were such a hassle!"
"Yeah! They still think that Xian Li is alive."
"Who will tell them that he was cursed and just an oppurtunistic."
But there was one young boy who was also an guard.
He was also a follower of Xian Li but did not want to ruin his life because of something that was unclear. If he had proof, he would definitely have joined the rebelion.
Then he saw someone rushing towards the gate in a hurry. Whe he saw the face of the person, he soul shook.
It was Xian Li, his idol!
