A voice echoed through everyone's ears as they stared at the familiar body falling on the ground, lifeless. Dain's lifeless corpse touched the ground and quickly started to turn into sparks of glittering dusk, fading with the wind.
The three of the girl's finally came out of their daze as they quickly rushed towards the fading figure, their eyes moist and on the verge of crying. They scrambled over to try and keep even a single dust to themselves, but to no avail. The lifeless body of Dain completely vanished into the air.
The three of them fell to their knees, tears clearly flowing from their eyes as their eyes turned bright red.
They never thought of being with anyone else. Even from the moment they met, they all loved him. Because of their feelings for him, the three of them never got along.
And after they came to this world, they forcefully buried that feeling deep inside, only to let out when either only one of the girls were alive or he chose one of them. They had waited for this confession of his for the long five years.
If they really loved him, why did they need to kill him?
Because the mission the three of them received was different from the boy's.

After some more heart wrenching pain, Hestia stood up and her heart composed quickly. She still couldn't help but feel if this skill was a blessing or a curse.
The other two also got up and followed Hestia, their occasional sobs still reaching everyone's ears.

In a Dark, Eternal Void, a consciousness was drifting aimlessly.
'Is this the world after death?' it asked. Remembering the last second of its death, it laughed, but no sound came out. All that sounded in where should have been ears was eternal silence.
Dain recalled the time he spent together with the three childhood friends. Just where did everything go wrong? As he was thinking when his time in the void would finally end, he heard a strange voice within the silence.

[Pendant of Imus has been activated…]
[The effect will activate…]
Dain was completely silent, shocked. The pendant of Imus was an item he found inside the dungeon, at a very secret location. He never knew what it was used for but now it is activated.
He stared at the golden rectangular pendant with a triangular eye looking down from the sky. Its mysterious golden light covered his consciousness as a warm feeling washed over him.
In the middle of the Dark Void, Dain again got into a coma.

In a White Space, A group of highschool students woke up, confused as to where they were.
They remembered that they were going in a bus going on a field trip. But suddenly a light appeared and swept them by some mysterious force.
As everyone regained consciousness, Dain also looked at the familiar surroundings, a deep look of shock filled his eyes. He was back to the space where they all received their classes and skills.
His face twisted with an overwhelming feeling of joy, he has another chance to make everything right, start early and reach a completely new level than his previous life.
Suddenly a familiar voice rang in his ears and everyone else.
"Welcome to the Imarion, Oh, chosen heroes. I am Celine, the one in charge of your power distribution." She said, She wore a pure white fairy garment with gold etched into it as white angelic wings came out of her back. Her golden eyes looked at the crowd and her white hair draped down her shoulders.
"Who is this beautiful lady?"
"Am I Seeing an Angel? Mom, I am in heaven."
"Wow, So beautiful…"
"Man, I am in love~~"
The students muttered seeing such a beautiful woman in front of them in a place which didn't look much different from what they thought of as heaven.
"Hey, hey, if we are in heaven then how did we die? Did that light kill us?" a student asked.
Some more students also started to voice their thoughts as they started to doubt if this angelic figure is the reason behind them being here?
"Cough… To tell the truth, you guys were only a blink away from dying, which was detected by the summoning spell to summon you into this world named Imarion." Celine said, clearing their thoughts.
"So, if we are summoned here, does that mean we will be given magic powers?" Kieran, a handsome otaku of their class, asked excitedly. He had read many manga and stories about these types of scenarios, so his excitement was palpable.
Celine smiled and replied "Indeed. You all will go through what we call an awakening ceremony which awakens the class and skills within you that you can also call magical abilities." Everyone got excited hearing that. But Celine's next words made them feel down for a moment.
'The only downside is you cannot choose whether you will get a strong and good skill and class or a useless skill with useless class. Everything depends on your own luck."
Dain also remembered that in the previous life, he had awakened a D-tier class called 'Dreamer', which let him control dreams. It was a cool skill but the only downside was that it didn't have any practical use in direct combat, in other words, Useless.
This time, Dain has to somehow make sure he doesn't get the dreamer class, because if it does, he would never be able to surpass his previous limits.
With a flick of her hand, Celine summoned a pristine white crystal ball and announced to everyone in a low tone that somehow reached everyone's ears
"So, let us begin with the Awakening Ceremony."
