"Yes, sir, we will..." the gangster with a scar on his face said in his treble voice. He bowed to Noah and stepped back, ready to run.
Noah feels satisfied with his negotiation ability; the person he spoke to would eventually agree. A mere gangster can't even escape his grasp.
He didn't plan to keep these gangsters here; he only needed them to leave immediately and stop torturing Emma or hurting other people.
However, he will not let them slip away easily.
He will never allow them to escape consequences; he will surely find them and demand money from them.
"What the fuck are you doing, Jonny?!" A powerful voice from the corner startled Noah.
Noah turned to see the direction of the voice and was surprised to find a handsome man with a clean face standing there. His gaze was confident as he walked toward them.
'This man! He looks different from the others.' Noah feels uneasy looking at his confident gaze and his smirk directed at him.
The gangster, with a scar on his face, speaks in his trembling voice, "L-Leader... I feel this man..."
"Stop talking!" the handsome gangster shouted. He halted just a few steps from Noah, his eyes locked with his, and asked, "Young man, who the hell are you?"
Noah was taken aback. He believed this man was powerful enough that his skill couldn't affect him.
He tightened his grip, concentrating on the gangster leader before replying.
"Me? I don't think you deserve to know my name!"
A smile appeared on Noah's lips. He tried to appear calm to make this man fear him, too.
"I ask you to leave now, or else..." Noah's voice trailed off as he noticed the man advancing rapidly toward him, followed by a resounding slap that shattered the silence.

Noah staggered back, nearly losing his balance; the slap had been too powerful.
He touched his cheek, astonished to taste a metallic flavor at the corner of his lips.
'Damn! Did my skill fail? He wasn't even affected in the slightest. And now he has the audacity to slap me?'
Noah felt a mix of shock and anger. His eyes fixed sharply on the handsome gangster.
He attempted to say something, but all the words in his throat made a U-turn to his stomach. The gangster's intimidating gaze frightened him.
For the first time in his life, Noah regrets not having learned how to fight.
He gritted his teeth angrily while making a mental note to hire a bodyguard to stand beside him. It's pointless to have money if he gets beaten by someone.
This time, Noah could only hope that Tina had already contacted the police to rescue them.
"How dare you slap me? You will regret it!" At last, Noah found his voice. His eyes blazed with anger as they fixed on the gangster leader's mocking gaze.
Noah didn't care anymore; he continued to provoke him.
"I will make sure you will never see the sun again! That's my promise!"
The gangster leader laughed at Noah's words.
"Hahaha, did you think calling the police would help? They won't care if you go there to beg! Everyone at the police station works for us!" the gangster leader declared with pride, leaving Noah in shock.
Noah said nothing, but his gaze remained sharp on him.
The gangster leader gradually approached Noah, saying, "Fine! It seems you ask me to beat you till you never recognize your face again. If you insist, I will grant it..."
Slowly, Noah felt his blood running cold through his veins. Desperately, he tried hard to think of a way to escape.
Numerous plans filled his thoughts, and the most likely one was to take Emma and flee as far as possible.
Suddenly, when Noah senses his plan is futile, a buzzing sound fills his ears.
'System! Why, why did I forget about it...'
