A woman of enchanting beauty sat on the grassy ground as she held unconscious Davin in a tight embrace.
Gaela had reverted back to her human form and a sad smile was plastered on her face. Cause she knew that they were going to be separated for who knows how long.
"If I were stronger, there wouldn't have to be a reason for me to be sad right now. I would have made sure that you lived a peaceful happy life, that you deserve." She whispered as she gently kissed his forehead.
[+5000 Pulses Points]
If the boy would have been awake, he would have been happy to get all those life points! Unfortunately, Davin's body was weakened by the curse to the point he blacked out.
"Make sure to look after your father for me. He has a tendency of getting into trouble." She added her voice broken.
"Stay safe until we meet again my son." With those parting words, she engulfed him in a golden orb and shot him away from her.
On that day, the people of the newly named town on Lentwells, saw the most spectacular and bizarre scene in their lives.
First, what looked like a golden comet shot above their town's buildings straight towards the outer parts of the town.
In addition, a huge white crack appeared on the sky followed by a gigantic translucent white hand that descended down from within the crack.
And lastly, something was taken by the hand and tagged toward the crack before it closed off itself, but no one could point out what exactly was taken by the hand!
~Few hours later~
Ray arrived at the town's main entrance with his outrage of four students.
But on reaching there, the town's atmosphere had changed. Everyone seemed buzzling about something. As they walked, romors from the people reached them;
"I think what was taken was from one of those houses uphill!"
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah, I mean didn't you see where the hand stretched towards?"
"What could it be to draw the attention of the hand's owner?"
"Who knows, but one thing is for sure, I think we just witnessed a supreme being's manifestation!"
"By supreme being you mean like a god, right?"
"A god my foot! Why would a person living in this lowly village attract the attention of a god! Besides, we all know that the only time a god had appeared was a thousand years ago to save humanity from annihilation." Another man interjected.
"I heard that the god was a human! Is this true?"
"No one is certain of his race. But one thing I know is that the story of the human hero who had reached godhood, is but a mythical legend."
"So you are saying the hand wasn't divine?"
"Yes, most probably the work of a powerful elementalist, maybe those illusive powerful ones."
"Huh, how can you tell."
"I was ounce a knight of this dukedom, and had my shares of battles where powerful figures would appear to change the tide."
"Whoa!" People who had heard the man's words gasped in surprise and admiration.
…
"That's weird. A gigantic hand, they can't be serious." Edric said with a chuckle.
"Right Sir R— !?" He stopped mid-speech after he realized that Ray was mysteriously gone.
"Am guys? Where did Sir Ray ran of too?" Edric then turned to his three training buddies who only shrugged their shoulders in response. Them too didn't know where Ray had disappeared to.
"…"
~~
A blue streak of light suddenly arrived on Ray's house yard.
It was Ray himself, and his expression became grim after sensing the mana fluctuations in his home.
"Davin… Gaela…" He muttered under his breath as he walked towards his house.
But before he could reach the door, a strand of silver hair rose from the ground and floated towards him.
When it was close enough to him, it quickly touched part of his neck, causing him to halt on his tracks as his mind was forcefully made to recall something.
~A memory from 9 years ago~
Gaela stood uneasily with ragged breaths escaping her small pink lips. Her beautiful face was flushed pink due to the embarrassment.
She was embarrassed from the fact that her naughty husband had pinned her against the wall with his no-so-innocent hands fondling her two proud peaks, underneath her robe.
"Ray… please s—stop." She begged between pants but to no avail. In fact, Ray's hands turned to her tips, and began rubbing them earnestly.
"We… did it last night… H—how comes you're still not satisfied—aahnn!" She was mid-speech when she accidently let out a moan, but quickly muffled it.
"For a powerful elementalist, you are really sensitive." Ray said with a chuckle.
"It's because of the—aaah!"
"Shh, yeah I know," Ray said with an evil grin which made him get a glare from his wife.
"Anyway, I want an apology from you."
"W—what did I…do?"
"From what you said last night."
"…" She suddenly fell silent as she recalled the previous night when the man in front of her had done forbidden things to her body.
Her faced flushed a deeper shade of red when she recalled what she had accidentally spouted during the heat of pleasure.
"It's true you know…" She said in a low tone that was almost a whisper.
"Still stubborn, guess I should take things a notch higher to get my apology." He said with a smirk while his right hand made it's way towards he nether regions.
"I'm sorry!" She said desperately as if her life depended on it.
"Hmm? That's not a proper apology."
"I'm sorry for saying that you can't get me pregnant…" She quickly responded in a low tone not far from a whisper.
"I guess I'll have to train hard to close our power gap then!" He said as he retreated his right hand.
"That's only half truth," She said with a sigh. "My body's trait of absorbing life energy is the main reason why. So I'm the one at fault here, not you…"
"But still our power gap plays a role, right?"
"Yes, it's also a characteristic of my race to ensure weak off springs aren't born."
"Just where did you guys come from!?"
"That, I don't know." She said before a frown enveloped her face when she recalled something.
"What is it?"
"We have to move… from here."
"Is he still looking for you?"
"As long as I am still alive, he won't stop."
"…" Ray fell silent as his mind pictured being separated with the angelic beauty in front of her.
"'I'm sorry, but there is nothing I can do about it. But if he does succeed in finding me, I'll remind you of this moment." She said as she pulled closer to him.
"So that you remember that I always love you. And do take care of yourself until I find a way to return to you."
She then pressed her lips over his and they ended up engaging in a passionate kiss, before Ray boke the kiss.
"How would you remind me?"
"Through this." She said as she touched a bite mark of Ray's lower neck.
"Get rid of the sad look, it's not like you are sure we are going to be separated." Ray added with a smile before kissing his wife from a mysterious race, who had marked him as her mate.
~Present time~
"I'll wait for you… if not, I'll come to get you… Gaela." Ray muttered as bitter tears fell onto the ground he stood on.
