A week had passed within a blur, but nothing seemed to have improved. The court was still at it, and so was Minister Fineland. Within the premises of the Fineland Mansion, Kora sat in the company of her sisters as they gossiped and laughed.
"But to think you went through with the plan... that's something," Nancy, the youngest, said, and Kora just smiled proudly.
"I hope to be someone like you, big sis," Nancy added, and Kora laughed even harder.
"That's okay, but you will have to find yourself another king, for this one is taken."They all laughed—well, except Emma. Emma snarled, her fist clenched and her lips twitching.
"We all know the king says you have to give birth before he marries you," Emma sounded more jealous than concerned."What is it with you, Emma?" Nancy yelled.
