The Moment They Walked Into Something Big
When Zephyr, Solene, and Caspian followed the suspicious man into the industrial district, they had no idea what they were about to find.
And then—they saw him.
Standing in the alleyway, speaking quietly but seriously, was someone they recognized immediately.
Sebastian Voss.
A top-level strategist at Sterling Enterprises.
A man directly involved in their father's business decisions.
A man who—as far as they knew—had absolutely no reason to be meeting secretly in abandoned streets.
And in that moment, they realized something terrifying.
This wasn't just a random meeting.
It was something much worse.
Something their father hadn't told them.
Step 1: The Confrontation Begins (Horrifically)
Determined to get answers, Zephyr stepped forward, attempting to sound authoritative.
"Voss. We need to talk."
Sebastian Voss turned, eyebrows raising in slight amusement—as if he hadn't expected them to figure this out.
His eyes scanned them, assessing how deeply they had messed up by showing up here.
Then—he sighed, shaking his head.
"You shouldn't be here."
Which—was not the answer they wanted.
Step 2: Asking Questions (Terribly)
Ignoring all signs of incoming disaster, Zephyr pressed forward.
"What's happening at Sterling Enterprises?"
"Why did our father exile us?"
"Who sent him that warning?"
Sebastian laughed softly—which was definitely not a good sign.
"Your father sent you away for a reason." He glanced at them seriously. "You have no idea what you're getting involved in."
Solene crossed her arms. "We deserve answers."
Sebastian sighed again, looking at them like they were spoiled kids playing detective.
Which, to be fair, they absolutely were.
But before he could respond—everything changed.
Step 3: The Moment Things Went Wrong
Just as Sebastian started to speak, his phone rang.
He glanced at the screen—then his face changed completely.
His relaxed posture vanished.
His amusement disappeared.
Suddenly—he looked tense.
He answered briefly—a low voice, sharp, urgent.
Then—he turned to them, his entire demeanor shifting.
"You need to leave. Now."
But it was already too late.
Step 4: The Sudden Escape
From the end of the alleyway, a black car pulled in quickly, tires skidding slightly.
The door flung open.
And stepping out—a man dressed in black, sharp-eyed, completely serious.
Sebastian moved immediately, grabbing Zephyr's arm roughly, pushing him back.
"RUN."
And suddenly—they weren't investigating anymore.
Now?
They were running for their lives.
Whatever was happening at Sterling Enterprises?
It was far more dangerous than they had realized.
And now?
They were right in the middle of it.
