Chapter 46 - Chapter 46: The Truth Hidden in Light

[INT. TEMPLE OF STILL TIME – NIGHT]

The air stood still.

Only the ticking sound of Haruto's watch echoed within the vast, ancient hall, carved from celestial stone.

At the center, the Time God — now fully restored but kneeling — breathed deeply, his silver hair swaying gently.

> Time God (softly):

"…You saved me again."

Haruto and Airi stood before him, surrounded by faint golden auras.

Confusion and awe shimmered in their eyes — heavy with the weight of memories not yet fully awakened.

> Haruto (hesitant):

"This… this isn't the first time we've saved you, is it?"

The Time God lifted his gaze — a mixture of pain and deep respect reflected within.

> Time God:

"No. This was the fourth time.

And you've never once remembered me… until now."

Airi clutched her chest.

Her ring glowed softly — pulsing with a warm, haunting rhythm.

> Airi (whispering):

"We couldn't repel the curse because we weren't… complete."

The Time God nodded solemnly.

> Time God:

"The curse of the Dark God has embedded itself across all of time.

Your souls — shattered fragments of the Light Gods — could not access your full divinity until you remembered who you were… together."

Suddenly, the air trembled.

A surge of divine energy pulsed through Haruto's watch —

In a brilliant flash, it transformed:

a radiant silver-and-gold timepiece suspended within orbiting rings, spinning like tiny planets around his wrist.

> Time God (gently):

"That watch… now holds the same power I once did.

But it refused to awaken…

Because the soul that wields it wasn't whole.

Until now."

---

[FLASHBACK – MEMORY VISION BEGINS]

A celestial battlefield — infinite, chaotic, burning with divine war.

Two radiant beings — the Light God and Light Goddess — held hands amidst the raging storm.

The sky cracked open with clashing energies.

> Light God (Haruto's past self):

"If we fall here…

Promise me, you'll find me again."

> Light Goddess (Airi's past self):

"Always.

Even if time forgets us —

My soul never will."

The vision shattered like broken glass.

[INT. TEMPLE OF STILL TIME – CONTINUING]

Haruto and Airi gasped —

Falling to one knee, tears brimming in their eyes.

> Airi (tearfully):

"That was… us."

> Haruto (hoarse):

"We've been doing this…

For thousands of years…"

The Time God rose slowly, power radiating from him once again.

> Time God:

"Yes.

Since the dawn of realms.

But now, the threads are converging.

The final convergence has begun."

Suddenly—

CRACK—!!

A deafening shattering noise echoed through the temple.

The ceiling split open — a black scar tearing across the sky.

From within, cursed light oozed down like molten ink.

> Time God (grimly):

"No Deity is allowed to step into another's realm.

That's one of the sacred laws written by the Absolute God Himself."

> Airi (shaken):

"But he's breaking through…"

> Time God:

"He's not stepping in.

He's cursing his way in.

Slowly. Painfully.

That is how the Dark God works —

Corrupting law through time itself."

Haruto's fists tightened.

> Haruto:

"Then he's already started.

That curse… it's what's been infecting all of us."

From the shadows, a familiar voice rang out:

> Elios (grim):

"He's almost breached this realm.

Once he does…

The balance falls.

There won't be another reset."

They turned.

Elios stood beside the Time God —

But now, something changed.

His form began glowing, shifting — energy surging beneath his skin.

His voice deepened — overlapping with another.

The Time God smiled softly.

> Time God (whispering):

"There's something I never told you.

Elios…

Is also me.

A fragment I sent ahead — to guide you when I couldn't."

Haruto and Airi froze — stunned.

> Airi:

"You split yourself…?"

> Time God:

"To wait.

To survive long enough to meet you.

Again."

Suddenly—

VROOOOOOM—!

The entire temple shook violently.

The black curse above tore further —

And a sliver of the Dark God's true form pushed through:

A storm of writhing tendrils —

Countless black eyes —

Twisting chaos glaring directly into the heart of the temple.

> Dark God (echoing, guttural):

"Found you."

Haruto swallowed hard.

> Haruto (quietly):

"It's really him…"

The Time God's voice rang with finality.

> Time God:

"No more delays.

It's time to prepare for the end."

The ground beneath them cracked.

Haruto and Airi met each other's gaze —

Both nodding.

United.

Complete.

Glowing with the power of gods.

> Airi (steady):

"Let's finish this."

> Haruto (resolute):

"Together."

SMASH CUT – BLACK
