Chapter 9 - Chapter 9: Just Sod Off!

The boy's legs tensed up as he used them to hit the horse's sides which forced it forward.

*Nyeeeeeih*

"Woah…Waoh!"

It stood upright on its two hind legs and kicked the two front ones in the air. The peasants around looked with their eyes on the horse.

"Hahaha" A kid laughed behind his mother.

The nerve—

The boy glared at the kid as he was up in the air.

CLUMP!

The horse's two front legs then touched the ground, the muscles had a strong firmness beneath him.

*Brfff* *Brfff*

"Damn horse!" The boy's mouth churned as It's hooves plopped the mud. He rode closer to the man as he started to walk away with those people, as they wore their heavy and seldom faces.

"Hey wait." The boy reached his hand forward, trying to call the man out.

"Hmm?" The man paused and turned his head to look.

"Oh it's you…" His voice was as if a heavy stone was dragged against dry grovel.

What does he mean "oh it's you"

Do I know him from anywhere or what?

"Wait! I have something urgent I need to talk to you about." The boy closed in while on his horse.

"Can't you see I'm busy?"

"Sod off!" The man waved his hand at him like one does to a pestering fly.

He's treating me like some insect as if I'm one of the people he's whipping.

The boy, his blood felt like bursting from his skin as the man walked off.

I've spent too long…All just for what?!

I can't let him treat me like this!

Who does he think he is?!

He quickly hopped off his horse, his boots slammed into the mud as bits flew off into the air.

"Hmm!" The boy grunted as he walked towards the man, his legs were heavy with each step.

"Hey!" He caught up to the man and cemented his grip on his wrist. The people around all just stared and murmured with some even coughing, so wet that it rivals the dumbness of the mud.

"Oh no… doesn't he know?" One of the people the man barked at said under their breath.

"What's the meaning of this?!" The man raised voice at the boy as he turned his head slowly.

"I said that I needed to ask you something." The boy said with each word slow and heavy.

"And I told you to sod the fuck off!" The man shrugged his hand from the boy's grip.

The boy bent his head down, his body trembling. But not in defeat or fear---But going against every fibre in his body to hit that man!

Does he know who I am?!

Whatever useless position he has doesn't compare to me!

The boy was furious in his head, so much that fumes could come out.

"Where's the Kumigara? Where can I find him?" His eyes deadlocked on the man as his hand relaxed on the hilt of his sword.

"The Kumigara…" The man gazed up into the sky momentarily.

"I don't know, you happy now?" He grinned his yellow stained teeth at the boy.

"Bullshit." The boy's mouth said almost instinctively.

"So what? You're saying I'm lying now?" The man fully turned his body and caressed his whip, he then grabbied it and pointed it forward.

"Look… I don't know who you are or what you want…"

"But you don't dare speak to me like that!"

"For I am the great Isan!" He unrolled the whip and brandished it into the air.

SNAP–WHIP!

"Damn…Now he's riled up." A woman said as she skiddled along with her child.

"What can that boy do? Against Isan's whip?!" An older woman murmured as she sniffed.

"Now…Go away!" As the whip rolled in the mud.

The boy's lips shut, only his eyes looked at Isan as acool breeze blows, his cape dances with it.

"Isan was it?" The boy moved closer as he removed his sword from its sheath.

"I couldn't even care less who or what you are to this town."

"Why…You little kid!" Isan gripped his whip so hard that a squeezing sound was heard.

"Yeah I am a kid…"

"...Yet you still don't compare to me."

The boy, pointed he tip of his sword at the man as the little ray of sunlight penetrated the clouds and shined off it.

"And what sort of playful imagination led you to that?" The man raised his whip high up as he chuckled.

"Its the imagination that you could never even afford, even if you lived a thousand lifetimes." The boy glared at him directly looking into Isan's iris.

"Hehehe." Isan tightened his jaw and cracked his neck as the cool wind blew once more.

"Maybe this will teach you some manners!" The man screamed as he forwarded the whip towards the boy.

"Hmm…Pathetic." The boy muttered under his breath as he slants.

What a god awful whip!
