"Haah, the thing is, it is just so hard to push forward, especially when we aren't aware of what is waiting for us, haven't you seen that massive golem just roaming around one passage aimlessly? If that is the standard of monsters beyond that place, I doubt we can move deeper if we're going to rely on a frontal assault…" frowning a bit as he recalls the terror that his own forces faced in front of that massive golem with its thick armor seemingly impenetrable with any force, the arrogant-looking young man said, his tone filled with uncertainty as this is the first time in a long while that they encountered something that stops them from ascending the tower at a fast speed.
"That is a passage that everyone needs to go through so of course, we already saw it as well, not only saw it, but some of my people even fall from that golem's power…" nodding at the young man's statement, one of the other ladies in the group, the youthful beauty named Celestia said with a hint of sorrow in her tone, the fact that the death of her Legia's member being so pointless in front of that golem making her grit her teeth in frustration.
"Tsk… Give me a bit more time, if I can improve my stats just a bit more, I think my partner will have enough power to slice through that thing's armor…" looking at the scythe still outside and displayed in its full glory, the lady named Xianxian mutters more to herself rather than towards the other as she plays with her unique weapon's edge, said edge shining with a sharp light that made even the one who appears to be the strongest among the six of them, the witch herself, gulp as she feels a hint of pressure emanating from this lady.
"We can't wait anymore, and you know that, Xianxian, there's only a bit more than two years before that event announced by the tower commences, and if we can't pass through the tenth floor, then we will miss a huge opportunity, I can sense it…" stopping himself from engorging even more of the food on the table, the dagger-wielding young man, Jin, said with a deadpan look on his face, an expression that will make anyone unfamiliar with them think that he doesn't care about this meeting at all.
The truth can never be too far away from such assumption though as his care and attention to this meeting is only second to the goddess-like witch's, after all, everyone of his Legia's member are someone important to him, hence he would rather have them successfully ascend to the next level without any problem and better opportunity than not having them ascend at all.
Surprisingly, the person he previously offended and threatened with his treasured dagger, the saber-wielding man, nods at his words as he immediately follows through with his idea, the smile on his face something that just made the others wonder why he suddenly has a change of heart.

"If that is all, let me leave now then, I still have a lot of things to do after all…" reading the paper for the last time before it disappears into nothing with a wave of her hand, the scythe wielding beauty, Xianxian, said with a smile on her face as she looks at the witch, the other lady nodding to her as well, her body already moving towards the exit but not before she got interrupted by someone barging inside this room without any warning.
It has to be noted that this room houses the six most powerful ascender Earth has, representing the very pinnacle of humanity itself, and barging right into this room is nothing short of tantamount to provoking death to come to your doorstep, something that is normally only the most daring of people would do, but not this time, as the one barging into this meeting of the ones who stood in the pinnacle bears a news that will not only shock, but invoke a mixture of complex emotions within these six.
