I feel the dirt and grass beneath my feet as I run through the wooded area on the side of the highway . I know I'm bleeding and I feel the pain of a maybe broken arm. The pain fuels me to run faster. I can't run back the way we came so I run across the wooded area. I hope it leads me somewhere I can find a phone eventually. I'm sure he knows I'm gone by now, I have to keep moving. How am I going to get out of this ? I have nothing on me money wise and he smashed my phone. Fucking ass hole. I cross through this strange ivy. It looks like someone made a huge circle, big enough for you to pass though . Im starting to get a headache. As I get deeper into the woods it seems to get darker, which I don't get it should be mid day. I have this weird sensation of familiarity. I see lights in the distance, I'm getting closer to whatever I'm seeing. After 5 minutes I'm in front of a very large victorian looking mansion. Why would there be a house randomly in the middle of the woods? The lights are on I wonder if someone's home ? Should I knock ? Just as if someone read my mind the door opened. A gorgeous pale young man with long black hair and purple eyes stands in front of me. He smiles at me "I've been waiting for you."
I stare at him as he looks me over."who might you be?"
"I'm lord Tristan Vankerbon and you just trespassed into my territory. Care to explain?"
"My deepest apologies sir I was trying to escape from being kidnapped. Next thing I know I'm running into the woods being pulled here."
"Well I will be your reprieve since I'm feeling generous. They won't find you here anyway. Not just anyone can pass through the portal."
I look at him stunned. "What do you mean portal?"
"Did you not realize your not in the human world now? Or do you not know what you are?why don't you come in and let's talk ." I'm so confused . He opens the door to the front house letting me in and follows me in and closes the door behind him. The inside of this place is massive with black and white marble flooring, a grand staircase, and huge paintings on the wall. He brings me into what looks like a vintage parlor room. This all really feels unreal. What did he mean by portal? Can I even get back?
He offers for me to sit while pouring me what looks like tea and some type of mini deserts on the table. "Welcome to Aetheria young one."
