I was doubting on myself, I couldn't even save those to whom I loved the most and I have no reason to live so should I really live? Do I really deserve to live?
The question was deep and my mind wanted to find out the answer and went to depths--
My eyes widened by the words Java said.
Suddenly I smiled and turned away and murmured, "Glad to hear my old name."
Java was left confused and I fell asleep. I was satisfied when Java called me by my previous name which I love, my name was enough to bring back my mind from the depth to the group floor and the night passed sweetly and peacefully.
The next day, I have to wake up early because the departure time from the mansion was at late morning.
I quickly went to get ready.
At 8, I was standing in the hall and looking here and there... I had made a plan... I will leave the mansion forever and will start making some real cash and become rich.
I didn't knew that how all of a sudden, money started becoming a concern or matter for me but it just settled in my environment and it was just fine I guess.
Syli was still asleep with snoring, he doesn't cares if he would be late or not. If that would be the case, then I should have also woken up a little bit later which was my usual routine timing.
I was angry for Syli's pathetic behaviour because he destroyed my sleep... I wanted to take out my rage, but I remain calm and continued walking in the hallways like a lazy girl having no job to do.
"Oh~ Yung!"
I looked in front and it was Levin, standing in front of me with a smile face. She came in front of me, kept her hands on my shoulders and exclaimed with excitement, "You will help Syli in all the problems during the journey?! I know you are super kind and a cute girl as well."
Is she trying to put some butter on me? I know that I am the most beautiful and cutest girl but all of a sudden sweet words doesn't digests good.
Suddenly my Exposure Magic activated again and I saw a laughing mask on Levin's face.
And suddenly I started hearing the inner thoughts and words of her mind by the magic.
"Just for the sake of Syli, I have to say cute to the ugliest girl I have ever seen."
Ah...! My heart ache by the negative words, how can I believe in these guys' words who are just meant to be selfish? It was my foolishness and I gave a sigh and my magic deactivated.
Levin had a clever eyes and she thought that I noticed something. But I suddenly smiled brightly and showed up my face and bent in front and appreciated, "Thank you for your sweet words, my lady."
And I started walking ahead and Levin looked back with a little bit of confusion but suddenly smiled and started walking away with a belief that I am a fool and I couldn't understand the lie... But it was actually my first time trying manipulation and sucseed at the first try, I made her believe that I am a fool.
A clever smile bloomed on my face and I looked in front.
By getting the Level 2 Exposure Magic, I finally understood the magic and how it actually works. I still have no control over it but I have understood one fact that the masks are the real self and their actual thoughts, the mask is the real face which they are trying to hide.
'Did you saw Java that I understood the magic on my own?' I was so much proud but Java had no reaction despite he just gave a smile with sweating.
<... Couldn't you just ask me? I could explain the magic.>
I had no trust on Java and I smiled, but didn't answered his question.
"Syli!!!" Levin hugged her son in the front gate of the mansion and started weeping.
But Syli didn't cared and just muttered, "Leave me mom."
Levin left and shouted, "You will become a great Star, right?!"
Syli with overconfidence smiled and replied, "I only deserve to be a Star who existed. Of course I will become."
Royal family's chit chat continued a little bit which wasn't for me. I just ignored it and looked at others.
Alyn was settling the luggages in the royal horse carriage while rest of the servants were standing and have came to say a goodbye to Syli but no one was looking happy. They were looking sad and they were just looking down like they are holding tears for someone's grief.
"Now, it's your time to leave. Now you should go, son." Synin ordered and Levin left Syli and Syli started leaving the mansion and started moving towards the carriage.
I looked at everyone and smiled and turned away and moved towards the carriage.
I sat on a seat in the carriage and Syli sat in front of me and Alyn sat next to him. The doors closed and curtains hid everything and the room became dark.
I looked down... I wanted to see outside because... I have never seen outside, I have always been in the mansion and could never look outside the world.
I tried to peek a little bit by the curtains but suddenly I noticed something in front of me.
There was too much darkness but my Exposure Magic activated and it was Alyn, looking at me with widened eyes and anger.
It was scary but I was not scared. But I stepped back because I didn't wanted to face any conflict during the journey to the Academy, I will leave them anyway soon.
I didn't knew what the time was bit I had nothing to do, it felt like days have passed and I finally asked from Java in my mind, "... What's time?"
I became more depressed because it was feeling that days have passed but it's only night.
But suddenly something heavy dropped on the roof and blade came.
Before I could even react, Alyn opened the door and threw me out of the moving carriage and shouted, "Driver it fast!!!!!"
The driver immediately increased his speed and they flee while I rolled on the ground with small injuries.
I finally stopped rolling and looked at the sky-- But suddenly another blade was in front of my eyes and was just going to stab on my eyes.
