The next day, Alicia came out as soon as she saw the Count's carriage. Behind it, there was another carriage, which Alicia failed to recognize. Hence, she hid in the nearby bushes. When she saw the baron Andrei, Count Herbert's second son, she jumped, shouting,
"Uncle Andrei!!!"
The Baron, taken aback, quickly caught Alicia and was close to crying as he saw his niece, who was already pronounced dead.
He said,
" Cia.... Cia.... you... You are alive. Thank Goddess Serania.. "
The Count told Alicia,
"Cia, it is too dangerous to be out. Let us go inside and talk further."
Alicia nodded. They all headed inside.
The Count reintroduced his son to Sir Alfred. The Count explained,
" Alfred, as you might already know, this is my second son, who recently got his title as baron due to his achievements as a civil official. His official name is now Andrei Stanley. He will be Alicia's new tutor. He will come here every other day in the guise of his son's swordsmanship training. Sir Alfred will teach his son Elmer swordsmanship, while Andrei will give lessons regarding kingship to Alicia".
Sir Alfred and Alicia both agreed to the plan.
Baron Stanley continued,
"Cia, I will see you tomorrow. Be prepared."
Alicia nodded in agreement.
As the next morning rolled in, the Baron arrived with his son. Elmer headed to the training hall with Sir Alfred. Baron Andrei began to teach Alicia. He taught her various disciplines concerning administration. He started with etiquette lessons. He taught how to hold a teacup, how to dance, and also how to return insults in a polite way. Alicia struggled to keep up at first, but slowly started to enjoy the lessons. This arrangement continued for about a year.
