Mi-Ho stared at the file in his hands.
Photos. Transaction records. Surveillance. All pointing to one man—Kang Dae-Hyun.
"Why now?" Mi-Ho muttered. "Why come back when she's just beginning to breathe?"
Hana hovered behind him. "Because I'm alive. He thought I'd stay buried—forgotten. But I came back… and he's scared."
Mi-Ho reached out and gently took her hand. "Then let him be scared."
Suddenly, his phone lit up. An anonymous message.
"You're protecting her now. But you don't know half of it. Ask her about the will. – D.H."
Mi-Ho's eyes darkened. He looked at Hana, unsure whether to speak.
She saw his hesitation.
"What is it?" she asked, voice steady.
He hesitated. Then held up the screen. "What don't I know, Hana?"
