Mi-Ho caught the panic in Hana's eyes the moment she entered the house.
"Someone followed me," she whispered, clenching his sleeve. "I think it's one of them. From before."
He led her inside quickly, checking over his shoulder. "Did you see his face?"
"No. But I felt it. That chill. That fear… I know it was him."
Mi-Ho didn't question her instincts. He trusted her too deeply for that.
But he didn't say what was gnawing at the back of his mind: How did they find her again? Unless… someone close had been leaking information.
He dialed a private investigator. "I want a full sweep. Now."
Hana sat on the couch, hands shaking, eyes far away. Mi-Ho knelt before her.
"You're safe now. With me, you always will be."
But behind his soothing tone, something had shifted. He had enemies to smoke out.
