"You better become a legend in Paris!" she shouted.
Hana smiled. "I plan to."
Mi-Ho stood in the distance, watching her through the glass. He didn't try to stop her this time. Instead, he simply placed his hand over his chest—right where her necklace once hung.
She saw it.
She understood.
Their story wasn't ending. It was just pausing.
As the plane took off, Mi-Ho whispered to himself, "When she returns… I'll be the man she deserves."
