Chapter 58 - CHAPTER 58: Enemies Who Smile Too Much

The luxury conference room sparkled with crystal chandeliers and high-gloss floors, but under the surface, it stank of corruption.

Hana sat across the table from Chairman Do, a man who had once smiled kindly at her as a child during family dinners. Now, his smile reminded her of a snake unhinging its jaw.

"You've grown," he said, pouring tea as if they were discussing the weather.

Hana didn't blink. "And you've gotten bolder. Stealing from a coma patient? That's low—even for you."

The other executives at the table went rigid.

Chairman Do chuckled, slow and steady. "Business is business, dear. Your father knew that. I'm just honoring his legacy."

"Funny," she said, tapping her fingernail on a manila envelope, "because his real legacy is inside this file. Shall we open it together?"

She slid it forward. Inside were the original trust fund documents her father had signed—along with proof of forged withdrawals, false company transfers, and backdoor sales that linked directly to Chairman Do's account.

His expression dropped.

Silence.

Then came the slow clap.

From the doorway, Kang Woo leaned against the frame, eyes glinting. "Impressive. I told you she wasn't just pretty."

Hana stood, gaze locked on Chairman Do. "You'll return every cent. Or I'll drag your entire legacy into the light. Your choice."

As she walked past Kang Woo, she said, without even looking at him, "Don't applaud me. You're next."
