Back in Treu's safe house, he wasn't so sore anymore_ in fact he could move around just right with the exception of a slight lip which he sure controlled_his physical endurance had always been good. But, he was still bothered about one thing; why would Kelly help him_ he didn't take the act so lightly.
He stepped out of the room after a quick shower only to find Kelly slumped on the couch. He by passed her for a moment then retraced his footsteps on second thought.
Poor thing, must be so tired after taking care of him a full day and night. His mom?had taught him to be nice to women so he carried her to the room adjacent to his own and tucked her in carefully not to rouse her. She looked rather pretty when she was sleeping_ if only she could he that docile when she was awake.
Treu prepared a sumptuous breakfast, his cooking skills were so good he could be compared to a five star Michelin. Well that's because he started cooking at a very young age 'cause he wanted to be useful; he knew how much his mom struggled to earn a living so he just wanted to do each and every house chore to lessen her burden as much as he could. For Amyra, although they weren't rich at that time, he wanted to treat her like a princess hence he pretty much did everything when they were kids.
Kelly was not asleep; okay she had wokenup the exact moment she'd heardTreus footsteps approaching the couch where she lay_ she was a light sleeper. She didn't get up though cause she knew he meant no harm. She just didn't expect him to tuck her in bed_which actually warned her heart a bit. She walked to the kitchen slowly, however, Treu was also not a simple character so he knew there was someone sneaking up on him_ couldn't be Kelly though since she was deep in sleep. Must be an intruder_ Treu surmised.
The moment Kelly entered, her left arm was twisted askew behind her back and she was pressed against the wall.

'Kelly?' he freed her slowly and his expression turned fierce.
'Yeah! Me, who else did you expect?' Kelly crossed her arms over her chest. This time not only had she taken his t-shirt but had also gone to great lengths to cut his pants and make a make shift skirt for herself.
'Are those my pants and t shirt?'
'Yes! look what else I have on.' Kelly lifted her shirt no his shirt exposing his belt that she had worn.
'Last time you warned me about wearing your clothes so this time I made sure to recycle before wearing.
This girl! Anyway she had saved him. If not for her, he could have died.
'Why did you help me? Who sent you?' Treu demanded.
'I only helped you to return a favor_ you helped me once before.' Kelly didn't know why he was being so detached out of no where.
'Thank you then. We're even so I think we should just part ways.'
'What do you mean?'_was Treu chucking her now after everything they had gone through?
'I mean let's part ways; you go your way, I go my way.'
'But_' Kelly didn't want to part with him just yet. She wanted to find a place to hide first. She had realised that Treu was not a simple character. She knew well how far Calhoun's influence can go, he would have long found her by now in case she wasn't with Treu.
'Ok the thing is I need a place to hide. I have this psycho ex boyfriend who wants to kill me.'
'Nice try but no!'
'Okay! I just need a place to stay for a while'
'Surely not here.' Treu was serious.
Fine! She would not leave no matter what. Peace had failed. She walked to the dining and helped herself to the food he had prepared, like she hadn't heard him.
