Chapter 77 - Bob and Valentine’s plans

Meanwhile, following the World Ball, Bob's public persona, Valentine Richést, catapulted into the spotlight, with greatly increased funding and interest from the World's elite.

Bob was now gilding the finishing touches on Valentine's "Future of Humanity" Project, the aim of which was to sow his superb seeds, and reap a harvest of bustling Bobs and Bobettes at a later date, with exponential returns!!!

This aimed to tackle the first of his three-pronged goals, the "Spray and Pray" strategy, but Bob was also mindful of the third prong, "Spray and Slay", which saw Humanity as One, and aimed to create a mimetic, or non-DNA legacy through contribution.

The Face of "The Future of Humanity" Project was in fact a global initiative to empower Humanity with the tools to improve their own genetic quality through Education and Training - this was the angle which allowed Investors, elites, and the World itself, to buy into the vision.

At the same time, an offer would be made to all willing and consenting Women of legal age: bear Valentine's (really Bob's) children through a [Sperm Bank Scholarship], and receive care and resources for life!

You read that right.

There were many people in the world.

Bob knew that diversity was, in itself, a strength that enabled Humanity itself to have more chances of adapting and surviving in the future.

There was no need for him to impregnate every single woman in the world - in fact, this would actually lead to problems related to lack of genetic variety. Ultimately, Humanity itself would be his legacy.

Like a skilled investor diversified their portfolio, Bob wanted to invest in multiple means to ensure his legacy would be carried on.

This was because he had realised something.

As the generations went by, his personal DNA would become increasingly diluted. As a result, the "Spray and Pray" Strategy at best would only be a temporary measure, literally, an 'initial seed fund' for a startup, to kick things off, but in the end, it was the "Spray and Stay", and ultimately, the "Spray and Pray" prongs that would have the greatest meaning and impact in the long term.

Initially, it would be difficult to achieve a 'critical mass' of influence, but at some point, if he could reach a tipping point, where his legacy became the norm, then all of Humanity itself would automatically be imbued with at least a little bit of Bob!!!

"Spray and Stay". This was the aim to find a high quality partner that would bring a greater meaning and richness to human existence. Thanks to his "True Multiple Projection", Bob would potentially be able to both enjoy, and also bless the lives of, significantly more women than the Normal Norman or Above-Average Adam, whilst simultaneously gaining new insights into parenting and relationships! Shortly, it could well be time to have a conversation (and perhaps more) with beautiful and intelligent women such as Allie, Tiffany, Sonya, and even Ms Heidi, as once they were no longer bound by professional working constraints, perhaps they could be bound in another way…

"What?!"

"What did I… just read?!"

After reading this… rather… ambitious last sentence, some readers felt a bit of disbelief, or even fear that perhaps Bob had lost the plot. Was he going to turn into a lip-licker-er, just like the rest of them?!?!

Never fear. There was in fact a difference between the previously mentioned lip-licker-ers and Bob.

This was because, having crossed the 75 chapter mark, the author, out of gratitude, had enabled Bob to unlock a new skill, this time, focused primarily on defense.

What's that?! Oh wow! Yes, your deductive skills, esteemed reader, are truly outstanding… that's absolutely correct once again!

Indeed. It was… none other than the legendary [Plot Armor] Ability. Having now firmly cemented his status as MC of the novel, this would allow him to do incredible things, purely for the sake of maximising reader enjoyment.

"Oh… I see."

"Maximal reader enjoyment? I… I like the sound of that."

"Yeah, no worries."

"It all makes sense now!"

"Carry on Author!"

"Take my power stones!!!"

The initially apprehensive readers immediately relaxed, made themselves their drink and got some snacks to better enjoy their newfound favourite entertainment, namely reading this novel and sending over some power stones!!!

Nevertheless, there were still some… rather naughty readers that made a fuss. Perhaps they wanted to be 'taught a lesson'?

"B-but… Narrative coherence? Unity?! Internal Universe logic? W-Wait, what are you doing? Y-you can't do this! No! Unhand me! A-aahhh!!!!!!! … Ohhhh!!!!! "

As always, it was the Pep-Z guy, who again got a Z for his ability to read the room.

Author was fed up with his meddlesome interference, and after signalling to some 'big' men to enforce some discipline, and miming a few punching motions of one fist into his other palm, the Pep-Z guy was quickly accosted, taken outside and… punished.

As for what exactly happened afterwards… well that would be a story for another chapter…

Anyway, as it stood, Bob was different. His decisions weren't based (only) on attraction or selfish gain, but because he wanted to give his potential partners the happiness they wanted and deserved.

He would be transparent with his abilities and circumstances, and in the end, for all of his efforts, the choice would be up to his partners as well of course.

Each partner and potential family would accordingly receive 100% of his attention and focus owing to the Multiple Projections of his Consciousness, and together, they would enjoy the fullness of what life had to offer and unlimited achievements!!!

More on that later, as we are getting ahead of ourselves in the plot as usual.

Was he a visionary, or crazy? Both?

Bob didn't know the answer to these questions.

To be more precise, actually Bob didn't really care too much either way.

Opinions would change over time and depending on who you asked, like the weather.

However, his goal had never changed. To become a genetic success!!!

As always though, it wasn't going to be easy.

After all, as a wise man once said, "if it were easy... then everyone would be doing it."
