Chapter 33 - CHAPTER THIRTY-TWO

Felix just sighed at what he saw in his siblings. He no longer wants to keep it a secret from them.

"Those souls who have forgotten their identity and the reasons they are not at peace in our world are known as lost souls," he explained.

"When a soul has lingered for a year or more in this world, their memories gradually fade, as does the reason they are still here on earth."

"A soul not at peace and whose death is not yet at the right time walks in endless darkness until their memory and identity fade away."

That is the sad fate of a soul that has not yet accepted and found peace with its death.

He looked at his surroundings and saw Ellese listening again; her soul had been haunting him for months, and he was seeing more and more restless souls.

"Does it mean that they are becoming lost souls, mother and father?" He heard her ask Jenny.

Felix only just nodded, having forgotten what he wanted to convey to him back then, before he stopped reaching out to him when he was still a child.

"Ellese told me that she might remember their memories when we find out what our parents want us to do." Thalia replied.

She scrutinized the souls of the two siblings.

That is the truth, Felix. Felisa said that back then.

"You really want to put my siblings in danger." He finally said it.

We would rather not put your siblings in danger. His companion insisted.

"They're talking to big brother." That's what he heard from his younger sibling.

"Them?" His sibling asked.

"Those are Felisa and Ellese." Greg couldn't help but speak up.

He heard Thalia just let out a sigh. "Ellese, I will only help Jasmin." He heard his sister say.

Your sister will still help me, Felix. He managed to say it.

He didn't say anything more after that.

"You've already discovered our connection to the Fuego; what are your plans?" He couldn't help but ask.

"Brother, I plan to return to the place where it all happened. I just want to know why it happened," Thalia simply said, looking at him.

Felix frowned at what he heard from his sister.

"Are you crazy? Do you know that place where the Fuegos are nesting?" Jenny asked, looking at her sister.

"Sister Jenny, my journey is leading me; I have many questions, and the answers will come from there."

"Is that why I see you digging there?" Felix asked Thalia.

"Dig?" Thalia asked him, clearly confused by his question.

"In my premonition, you were digging. Just like before Fernan died, you were digging something up." He said.

Jenny gasped. She even swallowed her saliva. "Brother, what are they digging?" Jenny couldn't help but ask.

"I don't know. I don't know; Fernan doesn't really remember what he was digging back then either." He said it out of curiosity.

"Brother, maybe this issue is connected too. That's why I want to answer the question that's bothering me."

He just scratched his head, not wanting to argue with his sibling right now. He didn't know how to stop his brother from making that decision.

"You can't be alone."

"Brother, in my premonition, Thalia has someone with her."

"I can handle myself. I know you're also taking steps to uncover and solve the mystery that surrounds us." That's all he heard from his sister.

"Who am I with, sis? Is it Ericka?" This one asked Jenny.

Felix wonders what is happening to them now.

"Besides Ericka, there's one more." He couldn't help but say.

Suddenly, he found himself in a dense forest, and he realized he was traveling once more.

I saw my premonition again. He was speaking to himself. There was only the light of the moon.

He heard footsteps. He turned to see who was approaching him.

Three shadows were approaching him. The shadows are moving quickly. It was getting closer and closer to him.

"Thalia!" called one of her companions.

He heard her panting. "They are hiding something here." One of her companions made this statement.

"Ericka," a woman suddenly appeared with her head bowed down.

Only shadows are visible to Felix.

"Here, right here in this very spot, Mom hid it."

In the light of the moon, he gradually saw three women working together, digging in the dense forest.

He saw his sister move a little away from his companions, holding a knife.

"Fernan is digging here." He heard Thalia say.

He needs to find a landmark where his sister can see what he sees now.

Gradually, what he was seeing was fading away, but he saw a landmark that he could share with Thalia.

He held his forehead; he saw Thalia looking at him worriedly, as well as Jenny.

He sighed.

"I think we really need to help each other. Promise me that you won't put yourselves in danger."

Felix was determined to end the Fuego's game that had been going on for a long time. The two siblings disappeared from his sight.

"Brother, you need to be careful; I can see that you will be in danger," Jenny told him, looking at him with fear of what might happen.

He didn't respond anymore; that was his decision. He will allow Thalia to seek answers to her questions, but he will ensure she doesn't suffer any harm in the process.

He will use his connections within the organization; he needs to collaborate with people he knows.

"Brother," Greg said.

He turned to his youngest.

"Brother, we need to hurry; their memories are slowly fading away." He even pointed something out to him.

He saw his cousin and the innocent ones who passed away in the incident.

He didn't answer. He has already taken steps, and he knows that one day his siblings will find out and get involved in this.
