Chaewon recovered the next morning ..she thought she was actually dead and in heaven or hell .
"Who are you ?...She asked Mira who was seated beside her ..whilst trying to open her eyes.
"I'm one of those who saved you from ending in hell "...Mira replied.
"If you saved me then, where am I?..wait, then it means , my family hasn't seen my dead body and must be looking for me".
She said and got up immediately but was so weak to stand on her feet.
"Lie down you punk, if you're so worried then why the hell did you try to kill yourself..huh?.
Mira asked her.
She was silent for a second trying to find the right words to explain herself to her understanding.
"You must be wondering, how could a rich girl like me try to kill myself.. actually it a long story and to cut it short ...my family is the reason " ...she responded.
"Then to your notice you will be living with us from now onwards " Minjae said whilst entering the room .
"How about my family?..they will be looking for me and definitely would find me soon " ..She said.
"We know , that's why you need to call them and convince them you're safe and at a friend's house and would stay here till your vacation is over."...Mira said and gave her ..a cellphone.
"Oh , okay" Chaewon replied .
She tried her parents line but nobody picked up the call. Then she called her nanny.
The moment she picked she asked her where she was and told her, her parents are really furious trying to look for her and would definitely punish her when they find her.
She told her to tell them she's safe and at a friend's house ..then hang up immediately.
"Well, that was heartbreaking...how could they be furious when you actually nearly died"...Mira said and held her hand trying to reassure her.
"It's okay, they could do the worse .. thanks for letting me stay here for a while and for saving me"..She replied whilst crying.
Mira helped her to go out and meet the rest of the teams . And couldn't believe she has met Saeron again.
"Wait , you ?, here?..how come" Chaewon said really confused.
"Well, surprise?..be grateful I didn't let you die .. despite how rude and arrogant you were to me the last time." ..Saeron replied.
"Em, sorry .. hopefully we could get along" Chaewon responded with an awkward smile and offered her hands for handshake.
"Aishh, sorry my ass..we can't get along " Saeron said and refused to shake hands with her.
The rest of the members introduced themselves and told her their purpose and how much of a help she would be if she's really possibly the seer of the veil.
She was totally confused and feit like she's going insane because how could she possibly be a saint and a seer with such an awful life.
She also agreed to go see the shaman.. because there's no way that's true.
Meanwhile at the forbidden forest ,
Jiwon was also plotting with the rest of the gumihos for their next targets.
The gumiho inside her came out , he told her ..she needs to find a girl who is destined to kill them all and seal the veil.
Jiwon was confused , because all this time she thought nobody could end this war but nope it was just her own mindset betraying her .
The gumiho only told her about the mystery girl's pastlife and now it's her turn to solve the mystery and find her before the guardians of the veil and Risk reapers does.
She began wondering, where could this girl be and is it true .. she's really reincarnated?
The gumiho told her, the girl has a bright light in her ...and the day that light will shine .. that's the day of their doom.
Jiwon went and stood by a nearby lake and stared at her reflection for a while.
She had intentionally allowed the gumiho posses her body just to get her revenge on those bullies .
Now that she's done with it , why can't she just stop it all and end it . She thought to herself for a while ..but the idea of betraying those who saved her .. when she had nobody, makes it worse.
"Well, I've already become a monster... I've started a game and needs to end it .. afterall there's no reward for being a good girl " She said to herself with a smile...still admiring her reflection.
She stood there for a while then summoned the gumiho inside her ...
" From now onwards I don't want you to possess me anymore, I will do everything myself" ..she said to it .
"No you can't, when am out of you ... you're nothing but a mere human " the gumiho told her .
" But am the one who does all this , and secondly I hate this guardians and Reapers to death and don't want them to find out before us" . She responded.
"Good , then let finish what we've started ".
the gumiho said and vanished.
Sooner than expected,
Jiwon began her search as well ...the only problem she had was that ...she had no idea how the girl looks like or her name. She just told the others ..her name is the seer child.
Meanwhile,
the guardians of the veil and the risk reapers also took Chaewon on the ancient mountain to see the shaman.
Over there they discovered , she's the child they've been looking for ...the seer of the veil.
Now all that they have to do is help her revive the spirit in her and remember her past life . Only then will she be able to seal the veil.....But before that , they need to protect her because she's just a mere human now and could be killed at anytime.
Especially by the lust demons and guminhos.The shaman kept Chaewon at her house in other to help her revive her powers.
Chaewon didn't want to do it, afterall why should she put in so much just for a veil but they persuaded her and let her know what is at stake if she refuses to cooperate with them.
"Why always me, why ! Chaewon yelled at herself pacing in the room .
"You need to do it ..for the sake of our world "
Junseok replied her.
"Is my life not miserable enough ?..huh?..My own family hate me to death and now I need to become some shaman to save the world "..She complained.
"Yours is better than ours ...afterall, you have us who will protect and support you ..and mind you ..when the veil grows bigger, not only the people on this island will suffer but the whole world including your family "..Mira told her.
"Aishhh, Damnit..I feel like going crazy right now " she said rushing her hands in her messy hair.
"Is there any other way like , maybe an option? ..She asked.
"No, can you please calm down?.. Minjae responded.
"gosh am losing my temper " ..Saeron muttered under her breath and rolled her eyes .. clearly uninterested with the drama.
Chaewon's mind couldn't just take it .. like how is she suppose to do that.
Being raised in wealth and taught only on how to manage a company....
Will Chaewon accept her fate or still fight it.
