From his murderous Aura, you could feel the intense enmity between the two of them. Lu Zi Zhen doesn't recall when he had offended someone like him, so why was he targeting him?
"You know my name?" Lu Zi Zhen was surprised as he had always kept everything secret. Very few people knew he had his hands on the underground businesses. He has come across very few business opponents with whom they have solved their differences amicably.
"Yeah! I know you.... I will make sure your name is never to be heard and your body never to be found." The man growled heavily, seeing that nonchalant look on his face that was irritating him. As much as he had muscles and grown, Lu Zi Zhen had this baby face and was still a teenager. The man felt like his gaze was irking.
"Who cares!" Lu Zi Zhen had already untied the ropes, he leapt up and immediately took him hostage while Lu Ting Cheng took cover behind his brother's back while pointing their handguns towards the oncoming men.
"You!" The man was surprised that this boy knew how to untie such a dead knot. He felt dreadful, and he could feel that cold metal pressed on his neck. He couldn't make a move in such a compromised position.
"What? If I don't get the hell out of here alive, we will both die, you should be more worried about your life than wondering if I want my life." While he held him hostage across his neck, he dragged him further away from the other men who were pointing their handguns at them. They didn't dare shoot, their boss was everything.
"Let go of our boss...." The men tried to intimidate him, but that didn't work on Lu Zi Zhen that well. They thought they were teenagers, they could scare off, but were mortified even more seeing how nonchalant they were.
Before the two parties could come into an agreement, they suddenly heard gunshots and the 'masked man's' men fell down onto the ground, one by one, dead. Lu Zi Zhen recognised that it was his mother's unique marksmanship. Did she come after them? Was she worried that they couldn't handle the situation?
"Mother...." Lu Zi Zhen called out, and Lu Wan Ruyi showed up with a helmet and handguns held in both her palms. Why did she look so cool in that outfit and the way she held the handguns?
"My dear, it's a trap... I hadn't carefully checked it through. And I need to know this man today." Lu Wan Ruyi strolled over and was planning to take that mask away, but suddenly there was smoke, and a sniper bullet buzzed past them, aiming at Lu Wan Ruyi. But agilely, Lu Zi Zhen nudged his mother's body to the side and ended up getting hit across his upper side of the shoulders, and the man at his hostage vanished.
He loudly exhaled in a cold air whizzing, he felt that sharp pain of the bullet grazing through his flesh, almost tearing. He can't recall the last time he got hurt.
"Lu Zi Zhen....." Lu Wan Ruyi shouted in panic as Lu Ting Cheng aimed at the sniper following the directions of the
bullet. He didn't know if he hit him or not, but they needed to get out of there as soon as possible. The other guards who weren't that seriously injured picked the other guards who had gotten injured over to the Jeep, driving out through a different route.
"Let's get out of here..." Lu Zi Zhen hoarsely spoke up as they assisted him and got out of the warehouse over to the hidden street at the back of the warehouse. She had parked her motorbike at a hidden corner, getting there, she got on, and the two sons sat at the back holding onto her as she speedily rode it away.
Riding the motorbike away bypassed the police vans that were heading over to that place, which was an abandoned warehouse, where they had just killed people and abandoned. They didn't care about the police officers arresting them, but it would be something else if they found out there were some guns and drugs hidden in that warehouse. That was smuggling, and the law would be on their back. This wasn't their country, and then her husband would come to know what happened and what they were up to.
