Dragging the lighter suitcase along, she glared at her husband. "I don't get it. Why can't Mintz and I stay back while you first get out there?"
Motzen shook his head awkwardly. "They encouraged moving with family since the world will be too hectic."
All his friends have told him the place wasn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Although Motzen was skeptical, he couldn't deny the benefits the salary and the job offers.
As for his 6-year-old son Mintz, they said the village was about to open a school there for children his age, paid for by the Company.
How good can a school in a village be?... If they had someone they trusted here, they would send their son to live with the person while they first go to check things out.
Little Mintz didn't seem phased by their family's big move. Yesterday, he spent time with his classmates, excited for what adventures awaited him.
