"How are you feeling now, Alve?" Mom asked as I entered the dining room.
"Yeah... I'm feeling good now," I replied, settling into one of the chairs.
Now that I think about it, it's been a year and a half since I've eaten Mom's food. Back in that world, it was either pub meals or whatever looked edible from the food stalls around Central Street Market.
"Finally decided to calm down, Alve?" Lily commented, walking in and taking the seat beside me.
I noticed Dad looking intently at something on his mobile.
"What are you looking at, Dad?"
"Ah... nothing. It seems something weird is happening. People are dispersing in different places," he responded.
Putting the phone down, he added, "This news is circulating all over the internet."
"Stop talking about strange stuff during dinner. Let's just eat for now!" Mom said in slight annoyance.
As we began eating, a sudden thump in my chest made me freeze. My heartbeat started racing. This sensation...
"Alve… your eyes. What's happening!?" Mom gasped.
What?
I grabbed Dad's phone and turned on the front camera.
It was there—my eyes were glowing blue, just like the reflection I once saw back in that world.
This… this shouldn't be possible. Mana… here?
"Brother! Your arm!" Lily panicked out, standing up and pointing.
I looked—and saw it.
Blue glowing veins were creeping and crawling up my arm. The mana was spreading.
"Is this a disease? Some sort of infection?" Dad asked, now visibly worried.
"No... it's not an infection or disease. It's mana," I said.

Suddenly, murmurs—footsteps—voices. Sounds of people moving, talking all around us.
"What is this noise?"
Everyone stood up from their chairs, looking around, confused and panicked.
But I didn't move. I realized it.
I sat still, heart pounding, eyes glowing, and whispered:
"It's happening again."
The world around us was shifting—changing.
Just like before.
One moment at home… the next—in another world.
