A few minutes passed.
"We're back home!"
Mom's voice echoed through the hallway, followed by the soft thud of the door closing behind them.
While they returned, I was still in my room—sitting in silence, lost in thought.
"Alve? What's wrong?"
Mom's voice came again, this time closer, as she stepped into my room with Dad right behind her.
"You suddenly hung up the call. Did something happen?" she asked, walking up to me.
Dad's gaze drifted to the smashed phone lying on the floor. He pointed it out to her.
Mom looked down, then up at me, even more confused—seeing me still in the suit, unmoving, quiet.
"If something's wrong, tell me," she said gently, placing a hand on my shoulder.
"Nothing, Mom… just a bad dream," I replied.
She let out a small sigh.
"Alright. You can tell us later. For now, get changed. I'll make dinner for you and Lily."
"Okay…" I nodded.
Changing into something more comfortable, I put on a light shirt and trousers.
While rinsing my face with cold water, I glanced up at the mirror… and froze.
There was a mark on my chest.
Faint… but unmistakable.
Right where the crystal sword had pierced me.
"Didn't everything return to how it was…? Then why do I still have this scar?"
I leaned closer, inspecting it in the mirror. But before I could think deeper—
"Dinner's ready!" Mom's voice called from the kitchen.
Quickly, I buttoned up my shirt to hide the mark.
"Coming, Mom!" I shouted back.
Sigh…
"I'll think about this mark later. Let's get go—"
And then I saw it.
Something that shouldn't be here. Something that I didn't noticed till now due to how familiar it have been over time.
The emerald pendant.
Still hanging around my neck, hidden beneath my shirt until now.
My eyes widened.
"So it didn't reset…"
That goddess—Glyss—she didn't simply sent me back home.
It would be one thing that there is an hour and half of difference.
but…
My body… the scar… this pendant…
All of it was dragged back with me—into this world.
