After a while, upon returning to the room, Tsunami shared a strange dream she had. "I dreamed Sam was fighting some boss in Jangla's house, and Chingla was getting praised for keeping her room clean."
The three of them laughed hesitantly, realizing she had overheard their conversation earlier and ended up dreaming about it.
Tsunami continued, turning to Jangla. "Your room was such a mess in my dream."
Sam tried to hold back his laugh. "Now that one wasn't a dream."
Annoyed, Jangla smacked Sam on the head. "If I remember correctly, that 'mess' was an accident you created!"
"I'm a tidy person," she declared proudly. "I keep my room clean."
Sam, rubbing his head, pain in his voice. "Yeah, except for your bed, which is full of midnight snack crumbs. And your floor! With all that stuff lying around, we could play The Floor Is Lava and never touch the ground."
Chingla and Tsunami, standing behind Sam, covered their mouths, giggling. "Headshot! Headshot! Emotional damage!"
Flustered and embarrassed, Jangla shot back, "Why don't we check everyone's room and decide who's is the cleanest? I know mine will be tidier compared to everyone else's."
Chingla, hesitant about the idea, said, "Maybe we shouldn't do that. It feels rude to intrude on people's places all of a sudden without notice."
Tsunami suggested, "Then we could let them know in advance, so it won't be rude."
Sam cut in, grinning. "No. If we tell them, they'll start cleaning before we get there, and it'll defeat the purpose."
Jangla agreed to his point. "Okay, then. Let's start with Sam's house since it's nearby."
Sam blinked. "There's no reason to check my room. We just came from there. Isn't this pointless?"
Chingla "Tsunami and I haven't seen your place yet, so no, it's not pointless."
Tsunami added with a smirk, "What's wrong, Sam? Are you scared to show us your room? Is it that messy?"
Sam, with an unbothered expression, said, "Nah. Come and have a look." Without waiting for a response, he started walking out.
Chingla and Tsunami whispered to each other as they followed. "Do you think his room is actually clean? He seems way too confident."
Tsunami turned to Jangla. "You've been to his room. Why is he so confident? Is it really clean?"
Jangla shrugged. "I have no idea why he's acting like that."
When they arrived outside Sam's room, Tsunami and Chingla were practically holding their breath, eager to see what his room looked like.
Sam slowly opened the door bright lights started to shine on their eyes like a light shining from an unboxing surprise gift.
Tsunami and chingla thought his room is so clean that even the light is shining, after a few seconds as their eyes started to adjust to the light they saw his real room.
They were utterly speechless to see his room being so clean like there was no litter lying on the ground no messy bed , it was so clean that there was no room at all it was completely empty room, an unfinished one.
All three stared at Sam in utter disappointment.
Tsunami broke the silence first. "What is this? Where's your room?"
Sam, unbothered as always, shrugged. "It's being renovated. I don't have a personal room right now."
Jangla narrowed her eyes. "Then what about the room you were sleeping in earlier?"
"Oh, that? That's my brother's room. He went out of town yesterday, so I'm using it for now."
Tsunami threw her hands up in frustration. "There's no point in judging a room if it's not even yours!"
Chingla sighed. "So this is why he seemed so confident earlier."
Sam, grinning, clapped his hands together. "Well, since mine doesn't count, should we now check someone else's?
