Premise Recap
Freya, obsessed with Bell's pure soul, decides to erase anything tethering him to others. She unleashes her Familia on the Hestia Familia in secret — Lili, Welf, Mikoto, Haruhime, and Sanjouno all die, protecting Bell and Hestia. Hestia is taken and sealed away so Bell cannot reunite with her.
Bell survives the ambush, gravely wounded. While unconscious, Freya brands him with her falna, forcing him into her Familia. But when he wakes… she realizes too late:
She did not get a hero.
She created a monster.
Bell Cranel – The Revenant of Ash
Race: Human (Cursed/Corrupted)
Alignment: Neutral Chaotic — Teetering on Anti-Villain
Familia: Freya Familia (forcibly branded)
Alias Titles:
The Revenant of Ash
Graveborn
Freya's Folly
The Blade-Tomb
The Black Flame
Falna Carving Incident
Upon learning what happened, Bell cut the falna seal from his own back with his bare knife, screaming with fury.
He threw the flesh and god-mark into Freya's lap during a public assembly of her Familia. His eyes burned black with hatred. The act was so vile, so blasphemous, even Ottar stepped back in horror.
The Berserker Armor, which should have driven him mad, instead became a tool — twisted by his hate. It bent under his will, like metal in a forge of grief and rage.
Weapons (Expanded & Customized)
1. Dragon Slayer
Forged by Hephaestus at Bell's request.
Made from the fused weapons and armor of his dead Familia.
Colossal, chipped, and dark. Carries the blood of gods, monsters, and friends alike.
When swung, the air splits with a scream.
Each dent holds a memory. Each kill is a funeral.
2. Throwing Knives (Liliruca's Edge)
Forged using Lili's personal daggers, reforged into a set of throwing knives.
Lightweight, fast, and deadly accurate.
A soft pulse of magic remains in them, as if her presence guides them.
One returns to him automatically — his final link to her.
3. Repeating Crossbow (Welf's Wrath)
Designed and built by Welf before the attack — his last gift.
Fires enchanted bolts rapidly, gear-powered by magic stones.
Accepts specialized ammo: piercing, explosive, cursed.
Bell wears it on his lower back, deploys instantly via wrist motion.
4. Wrist Blades (Sanjouno's Fang)
Built into his forearms like retractable twin blades.
Forged from Sanjouno's katana and enhanced with Mikoto's magic.
Can pierce most armor, even divine shields.
Bell can block, parry, or kill in a blink.
5. Phantom Cloak
Stitched using Haruhime's personal kimono and dungeon beast hide.
Allows stealth movement and short-distance phase shifting.
Reacts to Bell's emotions — flaring or dimming.
6. Blackfang – The Draconic Wolf Companion
Found in a dungeon deeper than any known floor — barely alive.
Draconic wolf with black flame breath and wings.
Sentient, telepathically linked to Bell.
Obeys only him. Kills anything else that touches him.
Name: Blackfang
Level: Unknown. Thought to be a spirit-beast or dungeon anomaly.
Outfit (Outside Berserker Armor)
When Bell is not wearing the Berserker Armor (extremely rare), he wears:
A long, ragged black coat, stitched with the crests of his dead Familia members over the heart.
Bandaged torso, scorched from the berserker armor's integration.
Dark leather arm wraps with the wrist blades locked in.
Black boots, steel-toed, heavy, and meant for brutal combat.
Left shoulder is armored, the pauldron etched with a flame — Hestia's symbol, half-scratched away.
Despite lacking full armor, he still appears terrifying — a fallen knight in mourning, cloaked in silence and fury.
State of Mind
Bell doesn't laugh, doesn't hope, doesn't pray.
He exists. He kills. He remembers.
Everything he does is for strength. Not vengeance — that is too small.
He seeks power to never feel helpless again. To never beg for mercy.
He will never forgive Freya.
He will never forgive himself.
He tells her one thing:
"I'm not yours. I'm the grave you sleep beside."
Reaction of Freya
Freya believes she can still "purify" him.
But every interaction leaves her unnerved.
Bell looks at her as if she's already dead — and she fears that one day… he'll make it real.
Freya Familia Reactions
Ottar: Treats Bell as a walking disaster. Doesn't antagonize him, but is always on alert.
All other members: Avoid Bell entirely. The air changes when he walks by.
Some whisper: "We created something worse than a monster…"
