Chapter 305 - Chapter 0302 – Bound to the War Chariot

He had originally planned to stay by Yi Tianxing's side, and now he was even more determined not to leave.

Cultivating here wasn't just safe—it brought benefits that far surpassed imagination. It was a place of training that ordinary people could never dream of. Now, not only was he unwilling to leave, but even if he were forced out, he would resist.

Moreover, Tongtian Pavilion was clearly a place where the stronger one's cultivation, the greater the benefits one enjoyed.

For many cultivators, cultivating here significantly increased the chances of breaking through bottlenecks.

This was time dilation that didn't consume one's lifespan. If one couldn't break through a bottleneck in one or two years, then spend ten or twenty. In Tongtian Pavilion, that kind of time cost was affordable.

"Do not spread news about Tongtian Pavilion to the outside world. Even though the world is still freshly transformed, some matters must remain concealed. If word got out about a place that could reverse time without aging a person, many would covet Xuanhuang Town. I do not fear them, but there's no need to waste energy unnecessarily," Yi Tianxing said with a smile.

Tongtian Pavilion, in a certain sense, was just too powerful. To many cultivators, it held a deadly allure, easily provoking greed. While Yi Tianxing wasn't afraid, the trouble it could bring was real.

"Naturally. This monk shall keep it a secret," Flower Monk promised without hesitation.

"Good. Get used to it here. These two courtyards will be your personal residences from now on."

Yi Tianxing smiled calmly. Anyone who joined Tongtian Pavilion would never want to leave. Of course, even if they did, he wouldn't stop them. Let them part amicably—there would at least be a bond of goodwill.

Ye Zhiqiu and the others remained in Tongtian Pavilion.

Receiving their own personal courtyard within it was a novelty—especially since it was in such a legendary place. They immediately began exploring and preparing to cultivate, eager to experience its wonders.

"Brother Yi, where are we going now? Surely there's much to prepare with the alien races invading. If you're busy, you needn't accompany me," Cai Yan said gently.

"Don't worry, Zhao Ji. The aliens may come in force, but they won't cooperate flawlessly. Suspicion and caution exist between them, so at most, they'll only show seventy percent of their full strength. This battle is an opportunity for Xuanhuang Town to rise. With me here, I will not let it fall."

Yi Tianxing's tone brimmed with confidence. "Come, let's go to the Scripture Library Pavilion."

"The Scripture Library? Did Brother Yi acquire new texts again?" Cai Yan's curiosity was piqued. She didn't care for many things, but books were her one true passion. Back home, she had spent most of her time reading her father's ancient collections.

"We went to the Immortal Tomb of the King of Huainan. There, I obtained his massive collection of ancient books—including classics from the Hundred Schools of Thought, along with a vast number of cultivation techniques, battle skills, and secret arts. Only by placing them in the Scripture Library can they be used to their fullest."

Yi Tianxing smiled as he recounted the treasure trove he had discovered. Cai Yan's eyes sparkled brightly.

"The King of Huainan's collection? That's an incredible find. Ancient records say he collected texts on a vast scale and even sent people into the imperial library to make copies. His holdings were said to be the most complete in his time."

Her interest was clearly stirred, and they strolled forward.

In a flash, they arrived at the Scripture Library. Inside, crowds of townsfolk were browsing and reading. Naturally, the first floor was the most crowded. Many were illiterate. Now that they were cultivators, they felt ashamed of being unable to read—worried they'd be mocked.

So, at night, the Scripture Library became a popular place to learn to read and study, creating a rich scholarly atmosphere.

"It's the Lord! Is he here to view a new technique?""And Miss Cai is with him. I heard she personally copied many of the texts here. They say she has perfect memory—not a single error in her transcriptions."

Seeing Yi Tianxing enter, many were curious.

He walked to an open space and raised his hand. With a flash of light, a white-robed elderly scholar appeared—it was none other than the Book Mountain Elder, previously sealed within the Hongmeng Heavenly Emperor Tower.

"Where is this? Hmm… what a rich scholarly aura. The quantity isn't large, but every book is high-quality," the Book Mountain Elder said with surprise.

"This is the Scripture Library Pavilion I mentioned. These are the texts I've collected—mainly cultivation methods, magic arts, and combat techniques. What do you think?" Yi Tianxing asked.

The elder didn't respond immediately. He scanned his surroundings carefully, using his unique methods to probe the Pavilion. Gradually, joy surfaced on his face.

"Such a fine Scripture Library! To store and preserve texts like this—unbelievable. I want to become its guardian. That would be a blessing," the elder exclaimed, gripping Yi Tianxing's arm.

He was clearly thrilled.

"That was my plan all along. If you're willing, bind your spirit and essence to the Pavilion and become its true spirit and guardian. Manage all the books here."

Yi Tianxing smiled. From the elder's expression, it was obvious he loved the place. Once he stayed, Xuanhuang Town would gain yet another foundation stone. Should danger arise, the elder could never sit idly by. And once he agreed—he'd be fully tied to Yi Tianxing's war chariot. There'd be no getting off.

"Of course I'll manage the books myself. Who else could I trust?" the elder said, without hesitation.

As he spoke, he released a wisp of spiritual essence, merging it with the Pavilion. At once, their energies aligned—completely synchronized. No rejection. Total harmony.

"Come forth!"

Yi Tianxing waved his hand. Dozens of bamboo scrolls appeared, covered in a shining white glow.

With a hum, they began transforming—disintegrating into characters that floated in the air, then reorganizing themselves into lines upon white jade pages. The scrolls themselves became books of jade.

Dozens of scrolls fused into a single complete jade codex, which slid neatly onto a white jade bookshelf.

This process repeated—scroll after scroll turning into pristine jade volumes, slotting into shelf after shelf. The formerly sparse Pavilion grew denser by the second. When one shelf filled, another appeared, growing naturally to accommodate the flood of books.

The scholarly aura in the Pavilion visibly intensified.

"Look! That's the Book of Songs… and that's the Book of Rites."

"That one! Huangdi Neijing, Zhuangzi, I Ching! These are Daoist classics!"

Crowds stood before the shelves, watching books appear from thin air. Some were thick, others thin. Many were familiar names, their legendary presence now manifesting in full form.

Too many. The volume was staggering.

Beast hide scrolls recording methods of the old magi and shamans were also transformed into jade books. Lower-tier volumes remained on the first floor, but the more advanced ones floated up: second floor for Divine Sea realm, third for Fate Aperture, fourth for Fate Map, and so on.

Books with wings—fluttering to their rightful places.

What had once been a chaotic mountain of texts now transformed into orderly rows of jade tomes, beautiful and ancient, but perfectly preserved.

The Library expanded. Bookshelves multiplied. The space grew broader but never cluttered.

"Wonderful. My books… they've returned to me."

The Book Mountain Elder wore a dazed smile. It was clear—even if you tried to drive him out now, he wouldn't go.

He picked up a book, and even in its new jade form, the scent of ancient time still lingered.
