Chapter 304 - Chapter 0301 – Time Leaves No Mark

This was an open invitation to all foreign cultivators in Xuanhuang Town.

To survive in the wilderness and still live well—none of them were pushovers. Among them were many heaven-gifted geniuses. They might not understand military tactics or governance, but in terms of cultivation, they possessed astonishing talent, progressed rapidly, and were extremely powerful. Gathered together, they formed a force that could not be ignored. In time, they could even become one of Xuanhuang Town's most profound sources of strength.

"They actually established a Tongtian Pavilion… Does one need a 'sky-reaching' cultivation to enter?"

"Tongtian Pavilion—this is just like an ancient place of worship. Once accepted, you'll receive Xuanhuang Town's support. Compared to the other villages and settlements I've passed, this place is far superior. The support will surely include Eternal Coins. If you cultivate with Eternal Coins, your strength will improve rapidly—almost impossibly fast."

"This Tongtian Pavilion must be some kind of treasure-class building. It can't be as simple as it looks. Who knows what kind of mysteries it holds? But if it's to be used as a residence for honored cultivators, it must be extraordinary."

Many outside cultivators in town couldn't help but feel a sense of curiosity and awe.

Anything labeled a treasure was rarely simple. Its appearance was surely extraordinary.

"Let's head inside. From now on, this will be your residence and cultivation place," Yi Tianxing said calmly to Ye Zhiqiu and the others.

"Good, I've been itching to see what mysteries this Tongtian Pavilion hides," Ye Zhiqiu replied with excitement.

Without hesitation, the group of four entered the pavilion.

Once inside, they were stunned to find that the internal space was vast—seemingly containing an entire world. It was like an expansive plaza, empty and wide, with nothing inside. At the center stood a golden jade pillar, towering toward the sky.

"There's nothing here… Is this really a treasure? It feels overrated," the monk Hua shook his head in surprise.

The Sutra Pavilion had jade bookshelves and countless ancient tomes. But this… was completely empty. It felt strange.

"Indeed. If this is all, then anyone could've built it with enough materials," Ye Zhiqiu added. But they both knew there had to be more than meets the eye. Otherwise, it wouldn't be considered a treasure-class structure.

"Of course it's not that simple," Yi Tianxing said with a smile, already aware of its secrets. "The Tongtian Pavilion is a treasure, no doubt about that. It has nine levels. Once accepted, you'll receive a Tongtian Token, which opens a personal space inside—a private courtyard unique to each cultivator. This courtyard is your residence and cultivation space."

"You can try it now!"

As Yi Tianxing pointed into the air, two white jade tokens emerged from the jade pillar, floating into the hands of Ye Zhiqiu and Hua Monk.

The tokens were inscribed with the characters "Tongtian" on the front, and the back was blank but radiated a mysterious Daoist aura.

"Drop blood to claim ownership; you can then store it within your body," Yi Tianxing instructed.

They didn't hesitate. Each dripped blood onto their token. The moment the blood merged, the previously blank back of each token lit up with their names—"Ye Zhiqiu" and "Lu Zhishen".

Flash!

With the recognition complete, two courtyards materialized from the void outside the plaza—identical in size and structure. The spectacle left them dumbfounded.

It was like watching the world manifest something out of thin air.

"Incredible. With a token, you gain identity and can conjure a courtyard for yourself," Ye Zhiqiu said, curiosity growing stronger.

Without hesitation, he approached the courtyards.

"There's a protective barrier," Cai Yan observed, reaching out and being stopped by an invisible force.

"These courtyards are tied to the Tongtian Tokens. Only the owner can grant entry. Otherwise, the barrier is impenetrable. That makes them ideal for closed-door cultivation—extremely secure. Unless the pavilion is destroyed, no one can disturb you," Yi Tianxing explained with a smile.

"This one's mine," Ye Zhiqiu said as he approached his courtyard. Sensing the connection, the barrier faded, and the door opened.

Inside was modest but complete: a meditation chamber, a bedroom, a hall, and a study. Not large, but everything necessary for cultivation was included.

"The concentration of Heaven and Earth energy here is amazing—far denser than outside," Hua Monk exclaimed as he stepped in, taking a deep breath.

"Still, if that's all, it's not much more than a spiritual cultivation site. This can't be the full potential of a treasure-class building," Ye Zhiqiu remarked, slightly disappointed.

"That's just part of it. The true advantage lies in time manipulation," Yi Tianxing explained. "Inside Tongtian Pavilion, time flows differently. One day outside equals two days inside—a time ratio of 2:1. What's more, this accelerated time doesn't affect your lifespan or bone age. Time spent here leaves no trace on your body—it's as if it never passed."

"What? That's… impossible!"

Ye Zhiqiu's eyes nearly popped out of his head.

There were other time treasures in existence—some offered even more drastic time dilation—but they all had a fatal drawback: time spent inside still consumed lifespan. A hundred years inside meant a hundred years shaved off your life.

Only immortals or those with endless lifespans dared to train in such places. Ordinary cultivators feared entering for too long lest they emerge with white hair and a dying body.

But this…

This Tongtian Pavilion offered extra time without any such drawback. The body aged only according to time in the outside world.

That meant one gained double the training time without cost. It was equivalent to extending one's life for the sake of cultivation.

If word got out, countless cultivators would go mad trying to get in.

"Such a treasure would attract hordes of powerhouses begging to join," Cai Yan murmured, her eyes sparkling as she looked at Yi Tianxing with growing pride and admiration.

"Tongtian Pavilion doesn't accept just anyone," Yi Tianxing said calmly. "Only those with upright character can be chosen. And this is just the first floor. The higher you go, the greater the time differential. Second floor: 2:1. Third: 4:1. Fourth: 8:1. Fifth: 16:1. But only the first floor is active right now."

Higher levels would unlock only when cultivators within reached certain cultivation thresholds—specifically, when someone reached the Life Aperture Realm (Mingqiao).

The breakthroughs and Daoist resonance they released would be absorbed by the pavilion, triggering the creation of higher levels.

If even one Life Aperture cultivator joined, the second floor would automatically manifest.

This was a unique feature of Tongtian Pavilion—tied directly to the growth of its inhabitants.

"The higher levels offer exponential advantages," Ye Zhiqiu muttered, eyes gleaming. "Forget it, I'm staying. From now on, I, Ye Zhiqiu, am rooted here. No one's kicking me out."

Even a 2:1 time ratio was enough to cause a fight. But a 4:1, 8:1, or 16:1 ratio with no lifespan loss?

That was enough to make this place a sacred land for cultivation—and perhaps the most sought-after treasure in all the Eternal Continent.
