As Jarius' winged army swooped into the battlefield from above, unleashing relentless volleys of arrows upon the ground below, the morale of the Titan faction's diverse soldiers plummeted!
The goblin commanders, witnessing the chaos, erupted into mocking laughter.
"Foolish Titan slaves, your doom is now on a countdown!"
Yet, the Titan faction's forces did not collapse. Their eyes fixed on the battlefield's heart, where the Thunder Titan Yatri dominated the Goblin King Amigel in fierce combat. Gritting their teeth, they endured the arrow storms from the skies and held their ground!
The leader of the more civilized troll clans bellowed.
"Raise shields! Raise shields!"
The less sophisticated mud monsters hoisted enemy corpses above their heads for cover.
As for the boarfolks, ogres, and half-giant hybrids, the aerial barrage only fueled their frenzy, driving them to attack with even greater ferocity.
On the other side of the skies.
Jarius led a detachment of several hundred elite winged transcendents to confront a youthful Titan giant.
This was an adolescent Titan, yet it already possessed legendary strength. With its towering physique and immense magical power, it wielded a whip of unknown material, clashing fiercely with a dwarven legendary warrior in a relentless exchange!
Jarius rallied his forces before them.
"Winged ones, heed my command! Target its vitals and unleash the Radiant Armor-Piercing Arrows!"
This was the winged race's mastery of the power of light.
"First volley! Eyes!"
Instantly, hundreds of specially crafted bronze arrows, wrapped in searing radiance, shot toward the young Titan's critical points!
Without waiting to see the result, Jarius led his elite winged troops to circle behind the Titan giant.
"Second volley! Neck!"
-----------------
"Tenth volley! Groin!"
After ten rounds of transcendent arrow barrages, the adolescent Titan let out a feeble wail!
It was riddled with wounds!
Enraged, the Titan giant unleashed a torrent of sand and dust toward Jarius and his troops!
But the winged warriors, long prepared, deftly evaded the assault!
Seizing the moment, the dwarven legendary warrior swung a massive steel axe—gifted by the goblins—and with a single strike, severed the young Titan's head.
The head of the adolescent Sand Titan crashed to the earth.
The battlefield fell silent for a moment.
This was the first Titan felled by mortal races, beyond Titans or dragons!
Mortals could truly challenge the divine!
Across the battlefield, the myriad soldiers of the goblin faction erupted into earth-shaking cheers.
At the battlefield's core, Thunder Titan Yatri witnessed the head of the young Titan bound with ropes by mortal slaves and hoisted into the air by the winged men to proclaim the might of mortal races. His fury reached a breaking point!
His golden eyes blazed with torrential lightning, bloodlust surging! A majestic aura soared skyward, and the once-clear heavens were instantly shrouded in black clouds!
"Ants! Mere ants! You dare defile the divine? I will slaughter you all upon this land!"
Boom!
Eighteen colossal bolts of lightning, like pillars of heaven, descended from the sky!
With this single strike, tens of thousands perished under the thunder's wrath!
Simultaneously, the Law of Thunder began to rampage! A world-ending crisis loomed in every heart.
But at that moment, the triumphant Thunder Titan felt a sudden pang of dread!
The pristine white spear in Amigel's grasp suddenly erupted with unparalleled silver brilliance. A primal sense of peril, as if his very bloodline were locked onto, became inescapable!
In the final moment of his life, he heard the cursed Goblin King's pitying murmur:
"Holy Spear, pierce him!"
A strange mechanical voice echoed softly around Yatri:
"Thunder Sequence Law in chaos! Spatial distortion! Locking onto human bloodline! Locking onto transcendent origin! Verdict: Pierce!"
Zing!
A blinding light swept across the battlefield, leaving all momentarily blind!
When vision returned.
A chill gripped every heart.
The once-invincible Thunder Titan giant lay fallen, his breath faint, on the verge of death!
In his dying moments, the Titan gazed at the equally stunned Goblin King Amigel. The arrogance in his eyes was gone.
In his final act, he summoned the strength to rise and roared to two adult Titans nearby:
"Bardex, Emex, take the children and flee!"
"Yatri!"
The two adult Titans' eyes burned red with grief.
"Go now! Find our King Ashumis! Avenge us and restore the Titan race!"
"Go!"
In an instant.
The remaining Titans' bodies glowed with astral light!
In the blink of an eye.
The six surviving Titans vanished, their traces gone!
Only then did the Goblin King Amigel, as if snapping back to reality, roar in fury:
"Proud Titans, fleeing like cowards? Yatri, I will sever your head and craft your skull into the gate of my future Goblin King's capital!"
"You will guard my goblin race's gates for eternity!"
"Argh!"
At the battlefield's center, the Thunder Titan Yatri, clinging to his last breath, was overwhelmed by boundless resentment and rage.
The final shred of strength he'd mustered dissipated, and he collapsed once more, dead at last!
Seeing the Thunder Titan truly dead and the six others escaped through unknown astral teleportation, Amigel inwardly sighed with relief!
None knew he was already at his limit.
The equipment from the human sanctuary, designed to counter Titans, had merely kept him alive through relentless beatings!
Of the twenty-odd goblin legendaries he'd brought, half had perished in the battle.
Though Amigel's spear had struck down Thunder Titan Yatri in a single blow, he had no confidence in defeating the two remaining Titan demigods!
For the energy within Amigel's spear could only be used once!
He had underestimated the Titans' resilience!
Fortunately, the spear's might had intimidated the Titans into fleeing.
Standing in midair, Amigel gazed upon the rivers and mountains below, basking in the awe of the myriad races. A sense of exhilaration washed over him!
When the world fell silent, and only the soft whisper of the wind echoed across the vast Pro Plains, he recalled his spear, raised it high, and proclaimed:
"We! Are! Victorious!"
