[3rd POV]
"What is an "Emporium" and how did it appear in front of us?" Percy was the first person to ask this question, as Wanda smiled.
"It's a bookstore of course! What else could it have been?" Wanda asked, as she looked over the three in amusement, especially once she noticed the look that Annabeth had given her.
"How do you know that I am a Satyr? Are you a god?!" Grover asked in slight fear, as Wanda hummed.
"I suppose that wouldn't be entirely inaccurate. But it would be more accurate to describe me as something a bit higher on the totem pole than your Gods. And I don't have the divinity that they do" Wanda replied after a few moments of thought, not entirely sure how to describe what she was.
She wasn't human. She wasn't a demigod, and she certainly wasn't a mutant or anything like that. She was some sort of powerful combination of creatures, a species with no proper name, a species of chaos.
The three teens paled slightly at the response, as there were not many beings out there that were stronger than literal Gods. And the ones that were stronger, were...not exactly the nicest of beings.
"A-Are you a-" "Titan? No, nor am I a Primordial. You're still thinking a bit small, but I guess that makes sense since your universe is quite weak all things considered" Wanda replied with an amused chuckle, as the only being in that universe that would be a genuine challenge for her, would be Khaos, and even then, she had no idea how strong it was.
"Then what are you?" Annabeth asked, tensing as her hand reached down to where her weapon was held. Glancing at it, Wanda smiled, snapping her fingers as it reappeared on the counter in front of her, alongside Percy's weapon, Riptide.
"Hey-" "No weapons are permitted within my store, demigods, Satyr" Wanda said simply, as they were locked in place until the trio would leave the store. Nobody was allowed weapons inside, be they a God, human, or whatever else.
"But-" "No buts, now, since you are here, why not look through some of the books I have. I'm sure you'll find something that might be of interest" Wanda said with a smile, as she leaned back in her chair, the group all glancing at one another, before walking over to the non-fiction section.
Once they stopped there, Annabeth almost immediately noticed that all the books were...different. They were on things she had never heard of, and were in different "Tiers" ranking from the weakest and cheapest, to the "Strongest" and most expensive of the bunch.
Watching as they began to look through the books, Wanda sipped on her tea, ignoring the looks they were repeatedly giving her as they began to whisper to one another, not realizing that she could hear them perfectly fine.
"So she's definitely a God or something, right?" Percy muttered to Annabeth, who nodded.
"Certainly. There's only a few Gods out there that she could be. And if she is any of the ones I am thinking, it'd be best if we get out of here as soon as possible" Annabeth replied, as Percy glanced at Wanda who was reading one of the new books she had gotten, listening into their conversation with an amused smirk on her face, hidden by the book in front of her.
'They really think I'm a God huh? Guess it could make a bit of sense, but there's only a stray few that I'd be in line with. Like Hecate or another Goddess that deals in that sort of area' Wanda thought with a small giggle, as she read the book on Gallifreyan language, and boy was it not only confusing, but incredibly complex. But she would get it soon, that much she knew.
"How do we even get out of here? If she's a Goddess we're screwed!" Grover whispered to Annabeth, who cringed slightly, trying to think of a way.
"Why don't we just buy a book?" Percy said, as they both looked at him.
"What? It's a bookstore, right? Then let's just buy a book or two. That should be enough for this Goddess or whatever the crap she is, right? Or are you two scared?" Percy asked, as he smirked slightly at the glare that Annabeth sent his way.
"There's no way it's that easy though, right? Every God is way too proud to let it be so simple. There's gotta be some sort of hidden meaning or something" Grover said, as Annabeth nodded in agreement.
"Agreed. No God would make it that simple" Annabeth said, as Percy just rolled his eyes.
"Well you two have fun with your...whatever this is, I am going to go and find a book to buy so I can get out of this place" Percy said, as he walked over to the fiction section by himself, eyes almost instantly drawn to the various comics in the area. But there was one group of comics that Wanda had created that caught his eyes.
The comic books she had made were based off of the cartoon "Avatar: The Last Airbender". Looking at the comics, he reached down and grabbed the first volume, which was only a part of the first "Book".
Flipping through the book, his interest was peaked when he had noticed the water benders and the way they utilized water, as he began to intently look it over, before grabbing it, and deciding this would be the comic he would buy. An excellent selection to Wanda, and one that could actually aid him in the future.
Walking over to the desk, he placed the book on the counter and looked up at her.
"What sort of currency do you accept here?" Percy asked, as Wanda smiled.
"I accept just about any physical currency, as well as exchanges of other books. The better the book, the more it pays for, and if it is valuable enough, it will give you store credit for future purchases" Wanda said, as the teen looked at her, before reaching into his pocket and pulling out the Golden Drachma, a form of currency in his world, and one used by the Demigods of Camp Half Blood.
"Would this be enough?" He asked, pulling out 5 drachma.
"More than enough. You can grab another with this many" Wanda said, as he smiled slightly and walked over, grabbing the second volume of the book, before Wanda smiled.
"Alright then, have a good day, Percy Jackson" Wanda said, as he paused for a few moments, looking at her before giving her a smile and walking off, and out of the front door.
"Wha-Percy!" Annabeth called out, as he just gave her a smug smirk.
"Told you, just buy a book and we can leave" Percy said as he walked out of the door, waiting for his friends on the other side, as Annabeth grumbled and walked over around the non-fiction section, only to pause when she noticed that there were some books on architecture, ones from other worlds.
Reaching forward, she grabbed a book on magical architecture which was the world of DC. Looking it over, her eyes sparked slightly, as she opened it up and decided on the book before walking over to the desk.
"That'll be 5 drachma's" Wanda said as the girl put them on the desk and marched out, leaving Grover alone, slightly nervous.
"U-Um do you have any suggestions on books? I-I don't really know what to choose" Grover stuttered as he walked to her desk, nervous with her being there in front of him.
"Hmm, how about a book on the wildlife of another world? It'll be on the 4th bookshelf over and is going to cost you 5 drachma's" Wanda said, as it was a book from the DC world as well, and was quite comprehensive. It also had methods of subduing as well as taming them as pets, their habitats, and all sorts of things on them. It was comprehensive to say the least.
Looking over the books, Grover's eyes widened as he read more and more of it, as he couldn't help but feel a bit excited at the creatures inside, before walking back over to the desk and putting 5 drachma's onto the desk.
"Thank you!" He said, as he walked off after his friends, leaving Wanda alone, and thoroughly amused with that entire intersection.
'Hopefully they'll bring a God next. I'd love to meet Hestia or Hecate. Mostly because Hestia is actually a nice Goddess, and Hecate would be interesting to learn magic from' Wanda thought, as she decided to shut down the shop for the day, having enough interesting guests for one day.
Turning the sign to "Closed" she stretched with a yawn, as Raven had already long since returned and was upstairs, likely reading one of the books that she had given her, with Wanda turning into a pseudo mentor to her, even if they were close in age.
Glancing at the time as she began to make her way upstairs, Wanda had only one thought on her mind.
'...I hope the next customers are even more interesting!'

That's the end of the chapter!
Basically just a small interaction with the PJO peeps, they'll be showing up again of course. Wanda will be doing some real world stuff soon, mainly involving the Justice League and Young Justice plot.
I've noticed a lot of complaints (On WebNovel) regarding her having reality warping, and allowing people like Wonder Woman to bother her.
And to them I say this: Do you not want there to be a story? Does a God care about what an ant does around them? Wonder Woman is strong, sure, but she's an ant beneath Wanda, and Wanda is beginning to realize that more and more.
Wanda doesn't even understand how strong she actually is, and tends to underestimate herself a LOT. But she also doesn't utilize reality warping in such a way because it would be...boring, very boring. She'll still use it of course, especially against threats that are actually, you know, a threat. But the Justice League is not one of them.
I do understand the complaints, but just remember, Wanda is in the top 5 most powerful beings in the DC Multiverse, with only the likes of Michael, Lucifer, The Presence, and MAYBE one or two others being stronger than her.
This fic is always and was always going to be a slice of life one, as that is what an overpowered character like Wanda had always wanted, to live her life running a bookstore, not causing conflict, not slaughtering the heroes for bugging her, simply to run a bookstore.
Anyways, sorry about my rant lol. I'm going to be ignoring those comments after this as they make my brain hurt.
Anyways, have a good day!
