The morning sun filtered softly through the sheer white curtains of the bridal suite. Birds chirped in the distance, and the scent of fresh roses filled the air. Ava stood in front of the full-length mirror, her fingers resting gently on the small but visible bump under her wedding gown.
She exhaled slowly, taking in the sight.
The dress was off-white, satin and lace, hugging her figure tenderly. The bump wasn't too big, just a gentle swell but it was noticeable, especially under the flowing fabric. She ran a hand across it, a smile forming on her lips.
"You ready, mama?" her bridesmaid grinned as she stepped into the room.
Ava turned, cheeks flushing.
"As ready as I'll ever be."
"You look beautiful," She said, her eyes misting. "Glowing, actually."
Ava laughed softly.
"Pregnancy glow or nervous sweat?"
"Both."
