He was close. Just about to grab her.
But then, a voice broke through the air.
"Na-ri."
She turned around. It was Jin Woo.
Na-ri smiled at him gently and ended the phone call.
Tae Joon stood frozen, staring. He didn't move. He didn't say a word.
Na-ri noticed someone standing nearby but didn't pay much attention to it. Just a stranger, maybe.
But Jin Woo did.
Before he could ask anything, the man—Tae Joon—adjusted his cap quickly, turned, and walked fast toward the black SUV parked outside. In seconds, he had disappeared inside the vehicle.
"Are you okay?" Jin Woo asked, looking at Na-ri with concern in his eyes.
She nodded. "Yeah, I'm fine."
"Who was that guy?" Jin Woo asked, glancing in the direction the SUV had gone. "He seemed… I don't know. Off."
Na-ri shrugged. "I don't know either. Maybe he's a celebrity or something. Probably trying to avoid attention."
