Chapter 166 - Chapter 166: Flying Over the High Wall

Chapter 166: Flying Over the High Wall

"Which Direction is the Radiation Source in?" Yang Le asked.

"It's to our East," Franklin replied.

"The specific Position isn't very clear yet, but the Radiation is coming from the East."

"OK, then let's go East," Yang Le nodded.

"If it's to the East, we might have some Trouble."

Valeria's voice came as she was taking apart the Gun in her hands with clanging sounds, while talking to Yang Le and the others.

"There's a Francos Wall over there, and getting over it might be a bit difficult."

"What's that?" Yang Le asked Valeria, puzzled. He didn't remember such a place in Marvel.

"That's Steel City, built jointly by SHIELD and AIM. We don't know the specifics, but we do know that Zombies have tried to take it down several times and failed."

Valeria explained without looking up.

"Some survivors see it as a Holy City and try to get there, but most of them die on the way."

"This American Legend vibe is too strong," Yang Le quipped.

"Yeah, a bit," Valeria agreed with Yang Le, handing another Gun to Franklin.

"Two people modifying them together will be faster. We don't know what hardships and dangers we'll encounter on the way, so we can't afford to waste Time."

"But with you here, getting over there probably won't be a Problem." Valeria sized up Yang Le, who had transformed into Diamondhead. That god-like Strength of his became her assurance for this journey.

"We need to prepare for the worst, Little Valeria." Yang Le didn't want to sound too confident. After all, he didn't know the level of this incident. Who knew if the Writer would suddenly have a crazy idea and zombify some abstract concepts.

After all, even a Pure Energy Body like Galactus was zombified.

It's strange to think about it. According to Vulcan, only an Organic Body can be infected. So how was a Pure Energy Body like Galactus infected?

Could it be that Galactus in this Universe is an Organic Body? That would really cheapen things.

Ignoring this willful Writer's little trick, and relying on Nana's Speed, Valeria and Franklin had just finished modifying their Guns when they saw Francos Wall not far ahead.

"Look!" Franklin pointed to the sparkling City in the distance.

"That's Francos."

The so-called Francos is a Steel City built entirely of Metal. Gold, silver, brass – the colors of various Metals shone brightly under the sunlight, especially dazzling.

Yang Le looked at the magnificent City and nodded. This place was indeed a good destination. Those Weapons that had been built, with their frighteningly large calibers, were clearly not to be trifled with. An Ordinary Person coming here probably wouldn't have to worry about the Zombie Crisis anymore.

Yang Le also perked up. Because they were about to fly into the Air above Francos, and they were essentially making an Illegal Invasion. The other side would most likely shoot them down. Yang Le's job was to block those attacks.

Fighting back wasn't necessary. After all, there were still people surviving here. If he destroyed these Facility and caused the Zombies to break through, that would be bad.

But to Yang Le's Accident, no one attacked them. The people inside the City didn't seem to notice them at all, turning a blind eye to them, completely ignoring a large Robot flying wildly overhead.

"That's really strange," Yang Le murmured to himself. Even with his Super Vision, he didn't see any pedestrians on the streets. If it weren't for him being able to sense various Energies flowing within the City, he would have thought it was a Dead City.

"Master, we're in Trouble."

Nana, who had been keeping Silence, finally spoke. As soon as she opened her mouth, it was an Alarm.

"We have Zombies approaching from behind."

No need for Nana to remind him, Yang Le had already sensed the threat from behind. But he wasn't nervous because he could feel that those behind him were too weak.

Yang Le turned around, and sure enough, he couldn't even recognize who these Zombies originally were. Probably just some seventh or eighth-tier Characters.

"It's Alpha Flight!" Franklin answered Yang Le's Puzzlement, revealing the name of the approaching group.

Yang Le nodded. "Good, still don't know who they are." To be safe, in case they were magic-related, he decided to deal with them quickly.

Yang Le extended a Finger, and a Light Beam shot out from it with lightning Speed, heading straight for the leader – a burly man in a tattered red and white Uniform, riddled with holes.

Seeing Yang Le launch an attack, the burly man tried to dodge, flying to the right.

Unexpectedly, the Light Beam also changed Direction, arcing through the Air and flying towards him again.

This clearly exceeded its expectations. It immediately ascended, trying to use Altitude to dodge the attack. However, it was no use. The Light Beam also ascended, and finally accurately shot through it.

The Zombie fell weakly from the Air. The Light Beam drilled out of his Brain and flew towards the other Zombies with unabated momentum.

Just like that, following the same pattern, the rest of the Zombies were all dealt with by him. This was the easiest fight Yang Le had ever fought since coming to this Universe, so boring he was about to yawn.

"If only it would be this easy from now on," Yang Le said.

"You're right," Franklin nodded, expressing his agreement.

Even though they both knew that was impossible.

"Speaking of which," Valeria said suddenly.

"Uncle Peter and the others should be awake by now, right?"

"Definitely awake," Franklin said, glancing at the sun, feeling his sister had said something obvious.

"They've definitely noticed we're missing too."

"If we get caught and dragged back, we'll definitely get scolded to death." Valeria hugged her legs, her Eyes looking at the Steel City below, but her mind was completely elsewhere.

"They might even get physical," Franklin said distractedly, touching the Gun he had just modified in his Hand. This Handgun had been modified by him into a Rifle, and the Size was just right for him.

"Getting scared?" Yang Le glanced at the siblings.

"Do you want to go back?"

"Of course not!" the siblings said in unison.

"I'm just a little worried about Uncle Peter and the others," Franklin said.

"Me too," Valeria said, her expression downcast.

"Maybe I shouldn't have argued with Moonstone."

"It's not too late to realize that now," Yang Le said, squatting down between them. "A sensible Child is definitely more likable than a brat." He placed his hands on each of their heads.

"Then let's wait until we Save the World, and then go apologize to them."

"After we Save the World, Uncle Peter won't scold us anymore?" Franklin asked Yang Le hopefully, expecting a definite answer.

"Of course not," Yang Le shattered his wishful thinking.

"But maybe you'll get less of a beating."

The siblings looked at each other in dismay and sighed.

"Annoying."
