JOHN'S POV
IN THE GARDEN:
My first kiss...
It's gone.
The warmth still lingering on my lips was proof of what we just did. I could not look at her at all.
"Ehmm..." I muttered, confused. I had no idea what to say.
"Should we go back to the mansion?" she asked, pointing in that direction.
"Yeah." I nodded.
I inhaled deeply, trying to get my confidence back. "Let's hold hands," I said as I reached for hers. Her hand was smaller than mine—soft, delicate. Everything about her was small. She was the first person to ever make me feel the weight of the word older and mature.
"What activity should we have next?" she asked as we walked hand in hand toward the mansion.
It was true. I was supposed to spend the whole day with her. Was I really going to let the rest of the day go to waste?
"What can we do?" I muttered to myself, thinking hard.
After a few moments, it clicked.
Something we could do together—something fun.
