We took Kieran back to my territory, dragging him into an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of the pack's land. It was a place I reserved for situations like this, situations where someone needed to learn a lesson before they died.
He was tied to a chair, his wrists and ankles bound with silver chains. His skin sizzled where the metal touched, but he clenched his jaw, refusing to show weakness.
I grabbed a knife from the table, twirling it between my fingers as I circled him. "You had to know this wouldn't end well for you."
He chuckled, though it was strained. "And yet, here we are."
I didn't hesitate. I drove the knife into his thigh.
He screamed, his body jerking against the chains.
Luca leaned against the wall, watching. "You know, we can make this easier for you," he said casually. "Just tell us what we want to know."
