"Where? Where?" Tanjiro, prompted by Zenitsu's words, looked around for the supposed illicit rendezvous.
Zenitsu grabbed Ryuji and Yumi, declaring, "I've caught you two!"
Yumi, startled, turned, looking at Zenitsu with a surprised expression.
"Ryuji-senpai, so you weren't bathing, you were chasing after the old woman's granddaughter! Secretly meeting her behind our backs!" Zenitsu accused, pressing close to Ryuji.
Ryuji remained impassive. Yumi, hearing the misunderstanding, anxiously tried to explain, "That, you…"
Zenitsu cut her off, continuing his dramatic accusation, "No need to explain! Ryuji-senpai must have seduced you first. Don't worry, I'll get justice for you!"
Tanjiro was speechless, watching Zenitsu's accusations against Ryuji and Yumi. He hadn't seen any inappropriate behavior between them. Why did Zenitsu see an affair? And what about Zenitsu's own clingy behavior with the girl earlier?
Inosuke stood silently, observing the scene without comment.
As Zenitsu finished, Ryuji calmly flicked Zenitsu's forehead, saying, "Zenitsu, you're overreacting! If this is considered a date, then your behavior with that girl earlier was practically assault!"
Zenitsu, realizing his mistake, clutched his throbbing forehead, whining, "I'll tell your fiancée, Aoi Kanzaki, that you're dating other girls!"
Ryuji chuckled; Zenitsu was acting as Aoi's informant.
Yumi, surprised to hear about Ryuji's fiancée, looked at him with a curious expression.
"You're just as bad! If you're too fickle, Tanjiro won't let you be with Nezuko!" Ryuji countered.
"Tanjiro, believe me, I'm definitely not as fickle as Ryuji-senpai!" Zenitsu immediately ran to Tanjiro, emphasizing his loyalty.
Ignoring Zenitsu, Tanjiro approached Ryuji and Yumi, introducing himself and the others. "You're the old woman's granddaughter, Yumi, right? I'm Tanjiro Kamado. This white-haired gentleman is my senior brother, Ryuji; the one shouting about adultery is Zenitsu, he's always been rather impulsive; and the one with the boar head mask is Inosuke Hashibira."
Yumi, already acquainted with Ryuji, focused her attention on Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke.
"It's a pleasure to meet you all. Since you've finished washing, please come inside. Dinner is ready," Yumi said, bowing respectfully. She was ready to lead them to the inner house to fulfill her duties as a hostess.
