Inosuke understood his physical condition; continuing would lead to his demise, as Ryuji had warned.
Heeding Ryuji's words, Inosuke slowed down, regulating his breathing.
However, he stubbornly insisted, "If I weren't injured, I wouldn't have lost! Next time, when I'm healed, I'll be faster!"
He fell to the back of the group. Ryuji, considering Inosuke's health, deliberately slowed his pace.
They traveled until nightfall, reaching a town and stopping before a house with a wisteria crest on the gate. Seeing it, Tanjiro murmured, "This family uses wisteria as their crest!"
"Rest! Rest! Rest here until your injuries heal!" the crow on Tanjiro's shoulder announced.
"We can rest until we're fully healed? That's wonderful!" Tanjiro had expected only a day or two of rest, not until their injuries were fully healed. This meant at least two weeks in this house with the wisteria crest, a welcome prospect for Tanjiro, who was constantly on missions.
The gate opened, and an elderly woman appeared, greeting them, "Good evening, everyone."
"We apologize for disturbing you so late," Tanjiro replied politely.
Ryuji simply smiled faintly.
Zenitsu nervously edged closer to Ryuji, his imagination running wild at the sight of an elderly woman in a secluded house at night.
"What are you doing? You look weak!" Inosuke approached the woman, poking her bun.
"Stop it, Inosuke! Don't be disrespectful to your elders!" Tanjiro scolded.
The woman ignored Inosuke's rudeness. "Demon Slayers, please, come in."
They entered the courtyard, where numerous wisteria trees were planted. The scent of wisteria filled the air, easily detectable even without Tanjiro's keen nose.
The abundance of wisteria suggested the family knew about Demon Slayers and {demons}. The crow's guidance implied a deep connection between this family and the Demon Slayer Corps.
The woman led them to a large bathhouse with clothes for four people.
"Take a relaxing hot bath," she offered.
