The kind-hearted Tanjiro, completely oblivious to Ryuji's intentions, worried about Inosuke's injuries.
"Ryuji-senpai, this isn't good! Inosuke is still injured! This hard labor might worsen his wounds!" Tanjiro warned.
Ryuji patted Tanjiro's shoulder, smiling, "Don't worry, it won't affect his injuries. Don't you see how eager he is to compete with you?"
Ryuji gestured for Tanjiro to look at Inosuke.
Seeing the shovel, Inosuke began stretching his legs, excitedly laughing at Tanjiro, "Hahaha~ I'll definitely win this contest!"

Nezuko tugged on Ryuji's sleeve, mimicking a sleeping gesture, indicating it was time for her to rest.
Ryuji understood and checked the time; it was almost dawn. He had Tanjiro bring the {fog cloud fir} wooden box and Nezuko entered it.
Zenitsu bid Nezuko a reluctant farewell, "Nezuko, see you tomorrow night! Don't miss me too much!"
Ryuji immediately gave Zenitsu a sharp rap on the head, saying, "Your emotions are a bit excessive! It's not like you're never going to see her again!"
"Hahaha~ I buried more than you! I win!" Inosuke boasted to Tanjiro.
Tanjiro didn't mind, expressing sincere gratitude for Inosuke's help despite his injuries, "Thank you, Inosuke!"
Inosuke, ignoring the thanks, said, "I'll train my head until it's harder than yours. Then we'll see whose head is harder! Until then, I'll stay by your side until I defeat you!"
Tanjiro twitched at the corners of his mouth. If that happened, one of them would surely die from a head injury! Tanjiro didn't want to die so soon, especially before Nezuko became human again.
Tanjiro smiled and said, "Go for it!"
Everyone except Inosuke prayed at the graves. Inosuke, meanwhile, began headbutting a tree trunk to strengthen his skull.
