'It looks like they're not planning to have a nice conversation as I imagined' Jamie could easily sense about six people waiting for them inside the building.
"There's six people inside and Trevor's one of them. Act like we talked about earlier." He said to Kyla who seems to be nervous, now that they're onsite.
"Phew.. Alright, You're following me in there right?" Kyla asked.
"Yes, So don't get overly nervous, I'm right beside you." Jamie reassured her and seemed like his words made her calm down a bit.
"Okay." Kyla nodded and took a deep breath before she started walking inside the building.
Even though the building is abandoned, only used to store miscellaneous objects, It still remains in a good condition.
As Kyla made her way upto the second floor she couldn't help but become nervous again, It's only natural to feel nervous in this situation so even though Jamie could feel her nervousness through his sense, He didn't say anything.
As she walked on, passing many classrooms she suddenly stopped and noticed that there's exactly six people in one of the classrooms and Trevor was one of them, she didn't recognise the others.
It seemed like that classroom was a usual hangout spot of theirs, seeing how comfortable chairs were placed around and seeing how clean the room was compared to other ones, Kyla came to the conclusion that they made this room to their tastes, filling it with luxurious stuff.
She quickly composed herself as she remebered that she need to follow the script peoperly and act according to it.
"W-Who are you people? " she acted like she was really surprised to see them here.
"Trevor?" she spoke again widening her eyes in surprise looking at Trevor.
"Pfthaha..It seems like your plan worked huh? Good job Trevor." A guy with blond hair spoke up first.
"W-What?...What do you mean?" Kyla acted like she's got no clue about what's happening there.
Trevor still didn't like the Idea of using Jamie's friend to threaten him and make him Vulnerable.
"You thought Jamie sent that letter to you..didn't you?" Trevor said with a calm voice looking at Kyla who's acting like she's nervous and shocked.
"You m-mean?...It wasn't Jamie but...you?" Kyla asked in a timid voice looking at the others in the room.
"Yes, It was me. We want you to do something for us Kyla. We won't hurt you, trust me." Trevor spoke with a commanding tone this time as if saying that he won't accept any rejections.
"Be a good girl and do as we say, We'll let you go. What do you say." A tall guy with somewhat long black hair said to her.
Everyone in the room laughed at her, looking at her like some kind of prey.
Kyla felt shivers run down her spine when she noticed all the gazes landing at her body, this time she really spoke with her heart beating rapidly because of how sacred she was.
"What do you want?.." she took a step back instinctively.
The guy with blond hair narrowed his eyes at her movements,
"Don't be a fool and do something like trying to get out of here, you won't be able to do a thing if we force ourselves on you, got that?" he said in a cold voice making Kyla feel more afraid.
"Senior Winston we didn't agree to do something like that." Trevor said carefully, not wanting to get on the bad side of the blond haired guy.
"Oh, we won't have a choice if she mess around Trevor, we'll have to be a little rough." The tall guy who spoke before said to Trevor.
"What do you want me to do?" Kyla spoke with a trembling voice.
"We want you to be our hostage, so we can get Jamie Walker here. I hear you're both pretty good friends and maybe more than friends, considering you came here, to an abandoned building because of what?... A letter? Pfthahaha." Winston, the blond haired guy laughed out loud.
"You two sure must have a close relationship if you're willing to do this over a letter. We won't do anything to you as long as you cooperate with us. what do you say?" The tall guy said.
"You want me to betray Jamie?" Kyla sked widening her eyes.
"No way, I can't do that" she shook her head.
"It seems like this bitch doesn't know her place. You have no choice but to agree to this, Did you think we won't hurt you?" Winston said looking at her with a devilish smile on his face.
"Do you think with your father's mere count status, You will be safe?" another guy spoke up laughing.
"Fuck it, I told you that we should've done this from the begining. Might as well have some fun with her." one of the guys said.
"It's this coward Trevor's idea so of course things won't be effective." The tall guys said looking at them.
"K-Kyla just cooperate with us, we won't do anything to you or else... I won't be able to stop whatever that might happen to you" Trevor spoke in a trembling voice, seemingly nervous to be in the room right now.
"All right, that's enough. It seems like we need to teach her a lesson first." one of the guys sat up from his chair and walked toward Kyla.
Kyla seeming nervous and scared, stumbled backwards, falling to the floor.
"Jamie!!" she screamed all of a sudden making all the people in the room surprised.
Even the guy who walked at her stopped for a moment but even after some seconds passed nothing happenned and all the guys in the room laughed out loud.
"Pfthahaha, what's this. I really thought we got lucky and had him here for us right away." the tall guy spoke up first.
"Is she praying to him now, asking for help?" Winston said as he laughed loudly.
'I don't like this' Trevor had a bad feeling that something worse is going to happen and he was already scared to stay in this room.
"Jamie!!" Kyla called out the name again and she was scared for good now that nothing happenned at all.
'Where is he, he told me that he'd be right beside me?' Kyla thought in horror.
Tears started flowing down her eyes as she was englufed in fear, Imagining what might happen to her.
"Hahaha, what are you crying for. I just wanted to make a cool entry here. Haah, but since you started crying so I had no choice but to show up" Right then she heard Jamie's voice and her eyes brightened up in relief.
The people in the room was startled when Jamie suddenly appeared out of nowhere, Standing right in front of Kyla with a smile on his face.
"How did you?..." Trevor pointed his finger at him, his face full of surprise.
Winston and the others also sat up and got together, They got a dangerous vibe from Jamie, who's currently standing in front of their eyes.
"You know, I've never killed a person before. But I realised that I can't survive in this world If I'm not cunning and ruthless enough." Jamie started walking slowly toward them, the previous smile was gone and no emotions could be read from his face now.
"I really looked down on you people, I thought you all were just some sore losers. But It seems...you're much more than that huh?" He stopped a few steps away from them.
Winston and the others are all at the Advance Realm, apart from Trevor who's just a Apprentice Realm mage.
Five third rank students including Winston are strong mages who has quite a reputation among all the third rankers for their talents and powers, but right now they're all scared to death just feeling Jamie's presence.
'I'm...scared?' Winston thought in shock as his hand trembled.
'N-No way...I'm scared of this brat?' he felt angry at himself for getting scared at Jamie, He forced himself to stop trembling.
"Good, we wanted to do this in a better way, But since you're so eager to die, I'll show you what true power is, Lucky scum know your place, your luck has run out now." Winston spoke in a cold voice as he stepped forward.
"Yeah.. that's right. I don't know what trick you used to cover yourself from us, But those tricks won't be enough. There's no one here to save you now. We'll show you how much of an ant you are infront of our power, you arrogant fucker." The tall guy also stepped forward starting to cast somekind of a wind spell already.
The other three third rankers on the room also came back to their senses and were angry for being intimidated from a mere brat who just joined the academy.
"If I was not here, I can Imagine what kind of things you would've done to her today. I already realised your trap because Trevor is such an idiot. I asked for here help to continue to act like nothing happenned." Jamie spoke looking at them.
"I told her that no one would be able to do a thing to her while I'm beside her and I meant what I said."
Jamie pointed his finger at the six people in front him looking at him with ferocious expressions on their faces, like facing some kind of a lifelong enemy.
"You all... won't be able to do a thing to her." He announced in a cold voice.
"Hmph. Arrogant brat." Winston snorted loudly.
"Let's teach this brat a lesson fir--" one of the guys spoke up but stopped abruptly.
The other five people turned around to look at him, to see why he stopped talking.
But what they saw was Jamie who suddenly appeared infront of that guy, holding a pitch black sword that emits a dangerous aura. The sword was stabbed straight into the guy's chest, to the heart.
"Kwaff....." The guy coughed out blood that spilled all over his clothes, He moved his head up looking at Jamie's face which held no expression.
"H-H-How?...." he was in disbelief, he couldn't even see Jamie move, He didn't even get to finish his sentence.
He fell down as Jamie pulled the Nether Sword from his chest.
Jamie shrugged off the sword, letting crimson blood spray the floor. He turned to look at the other five people who are now looking at him with their eyes widened, mouths opened in disbelief.
"I killed a person right now, The first person I killed In my life. But I'm glad that it was a trash that should've died way more earlier." Jamie spoke in a cold voice making the atmosphere in the room more colder.
The five remaining people couldn't move from their positions. They didn't know why thier bodies refused to move either, But they knew if they don't do anything right now, They won't be alive to see the daylight tomorrow.
"Since I started this now, Might as well get rid of five more trash. Why don't I send you all of so you all can reunite with him again. What do you say?" Jamie smiled charmingly looking at them.
But the others only saw a devil smiling at them, welcoming them to hell.
"Argghhhh!!!!" Trevor screamed at the top of his lungs at tried to run away, fear etched on his face.
"There's nowhere to run Trevor, But I'll spare a few of you If you listen to my commands." Jamie announced with the same smile on his face, looking at them.
Meanwhile Kyla is also nervous, because the Jamie right now seems more colder and indifferent than the one she knows.
'Is this the same person from a while ago?' she thought to herself.
