"Who's there?"
The followers stationed there, along with the advanced apprentices Melina and the others had specifically sought out, immediately became alert.
But then, Roy was shocked to see Renien raise his sharp claws, and the Star Soul Beast behind him fiercely swung its arm.
Rip!
After a terrifying sound like cloth tearing, the armor shattered, and blood flowed freely.
An apprentice with the physique of an advanced knight was instantly killed!
Roy remembered that he was supposed to be a decent melee combatant.
In the vision of the [Eye of Hermes], the light armor on his body emitted a white glow, a top-tier enchanted item at the apprentice level, worth at least two to three thousand.
But who would have thought that under Renien's attack, it would be as fragile as paper.
"These beast claws have incredible attack power!"
Roy's eyelids twitched, and then he saw two more insectoids emerge.
They were from the Otherworld known as the "Blade Mantis World," resembling upright giant mantises with natural biological armor and large blade arms.
Before they could even make a move, the Star Soul Beast's arm suddenly extended.
Blood splattered!
The defensive line was torn apart as easily as crushing dry weeds, utterly powerless to stop a single strike!
That thing truly lived up to its reputation as a third-tier exceptional treasure, its sharpness unmatched!
Renien didn't care what level of enemy stood in his way or what kind of equipment they wore; he just kept swinging his arm with all his might.
One follower even tried to raise a thick iron shield to block his attack.
But both the man and the shield were torn into several pieces.
Olen and the others finally reacted, quickly turning around to try and block him.
But at that moment, Sophia stabbed them in the back!
With the terrifying strength of a peak Grand Knight, she slashed heavily at Olen with her sword.
This sudden assault made Olen realize the danger and hastily retreat.
"Great opportunity, the blockade is loosening!"
Seeing this, Roy seized the chance and charged forward, throwing several bottles of the Orchard Curse into the crowd ahead!
It was like lighting a fire in a powder keg; chaos erupted near the entrance.
"Sophia, Roy, what are you doing?" Olen exclaimed in shock and anger.
Melina and Balu also glared fiercely, their eyes locked on them.
At that moment, Renien, in an astonishingly short time, had already fought his way through their followers and successfully escaped to the exit.
Olen raised his arm high, and as he chanted, talismans scattered and flew in all directions.
Melina also began chanting a summoning spell, and with the sound of furious barking, over a dozen Hellhounds the size of calves came charging and biting.
Roy didn't bother with any of that; he just focused on rushing toward the exit.
At this point, all he wanted was to get out as quickly as possible.
Anyone who tried to stop him was an enemy!
With the strength of a Grand Knight, ten times that of an ordinary person, even an advanced knight was sent flying.
A senior apprentice from the tower began chanting a spell, attempting to throw animated iron chains to entangle him.
But this was a move Roy himself often used; his hair flew out like a serpent, coiling around.
The two tangled and pulled in mid-air, and in a moment, Roy's hair lashed out like a whip, dragging the chains and striking the spellcaster himself.
Caught off guard, the man's eyeballs were smashed, and he screamed, covering his face as he retreated.
Roy's hair whipped out like a long whip, and he charged forward as if no one was in his way, catching up and striking the man's face again!
Crack! Flesh exploded!
The man's face was blown apart, and he fell to the ground, screaming.
Balu's half-elf followers tried to block the way, but their expressions froze, and they stood there dumbfounded.
The effects of the Orchard Curse began to take hold.
Roy's hair, coiled like a python, wrapped around the opponent's neck, and with a sharp crack, he twisted it, lifting the entire body and hurling it away!
Close behind was the Hellhound summoned by Melina.
Roy fully activated the hair on his back, and the rapidly growing strands attacked the hounds' bodies.
In a fierce stabbing assault, the tips of the hair solidified into iron spears, swiftly piercing through them. In a flash, several of the vicious hounds were killed.
Flesh and blood could no longer withstand the might of the Hair Demon Physique.
After being nurtured over this period, especially in the past few days by absorbing the metal elements from the Blood Pool, its toughness, elasticity, and transformation speed had all reached unprecedented levels.
It was too brutal!
Onlookers gasped, only able to watch helplessly as he leaped into the portal and disappeared in an instant.
...
"Finally out!"
Moments later, Roy appeared high in the sky of the Wizard World.
He attempted to mobilize his Mental Strength, as if manipulating objects from a distance, gradually reducing his own weight.
Instantly, his entire body seemed to be under the effect of the Feather Fall Spell, gliding away into the distance.
Only then did he notice with relief that a large group of people were scrambling to jump out behind him.
Most of them lacked the ability to fly, but since they dared to come up, they must have thought of a way out.
Some spread out tarps, gliding like wing-suit flyers into the distance, while others climbed nearby hot air balloons, throwing out hooks to scale the walls.
Some plummeted straight down, but just before hitting the ground, puffy white fluff suddenly floated out.
Square-shaped, dandelion-like seeds of a strange plant served as parachutes.
Melina and her cohorts' sinister plans were instantly and utterly foiled!
Not long after, Roy saw them emerge from within, looking somewhat flustered and disheveled.
"You... just wait and see!"
Olen's face flickered with uncertainty as he searched the crowd, finally locking eyes with Sophia from afar.
"Since that's the case, I'll start with you!"
He and Balu glided towards Sophia.
Meanwhile, Melina chose to pursue Roy.
"Senior, why are you so relentless?" Roy asked via a secret message while accelerating through the air.
"You ruined everything, and you dare ask why!
Originally, killing those people could have brought us more benefits and led us to the whereabouts of the Legendary Treasure, but now it's all messed up because of you.
Might as well take you down!"
Melina responded fiercely.
Her giant dog spread its limbs, gliding like a flying squirrel, quickly closing in.
"I think you might have chosen the wrong opponent."
Roy sighed, speaking helplessly.
"Even if it's you, dealing with me won't be that easy."
"Is that so?" A hint of disdain appeared on Melina's beautiful face.
"Do you really think that just because you've reached a stage where your Mental Strength has completely transformed, you can stand on equal footing with us?
Kid, you're still far from it!"
Soon after, both of them landed, arriving at a small valley several kilometers away.
The place was surrounded by mountains, with treacherous terrain, especially the steep cliffs on both sides, towering like thick walls.
Roy could tell at a glance that even with a physique and stamina far superior to ordinary people, allowing him to climb and traverse in ways that others couldn't, it would still take some time.
Moreover, the narrow and rugged valley floor, strewn with scattered rocks, was not conducive to a full-speed escape.
He cursed his bad luck and could only try to leave as quickly as possible.
However, the giant dog under Melina's command was well-adapted to the terrain, leaping and skimming the ground as if flying.
Within a few minutes, it had successfully caught up.
