Chapter 93: Splitting the Heavens
The Blue and Red Ogres clashed their greatswords together. The air around them grew incredibly heavy, as if brewing a violent storm.
Dust rippled outwards from beneath their feet, circle after circle.
"Only at close range do you realize... this aura is practically suffocating," Zoro remarked, his brow tightly furrowed, alarmed by the atmosphere permeating the air.
The twin Ogres looked up at the sky. Within the churning vortex of thunderclouds, the giant ball of lightning had already completely detached itself.
In this dim world of gray, only the berserk and terrifying aura continuously radiating from the twin Ogres shot straight into the heavens.
Just then, a hawk carrying a person flew out from the Ark Maxim. Reiner looked down at the twin Ogres below. "This is the first time I'm using it... my EX-Calibur."
The next moment! The majestic aura emanating from the Blue and Red Ogres instantly condensed. The fierce winds between heaven and earth abruptly ceased.
The air seemed to solidify! Time stagnated! All sound vanished without a trace!
The twin Ogres' greatswords clashed, then simultaneously blasted outwards!
BANG!!
The ruins beneath their feet instantly crumbled under the unbearable load, a massive spiderweb of cracks spreading out with the Ogres at its center.
A fierce wind erupted! A deafening explosion ripped through everyone's ears! The berserk shockwave soared straight up into the sky!
"SPEAR OF ELBAF!!"
"HAKOKU!!!"
The intermingling blue and red shockwave twisted together, like two long dragons shooting straight into the clouds, piercing through the Ark Maxim! Piercing through Raigo!
Its momentum undiminished, it plunged headfirst into the thick thunderclouds!
The giant black ball of lightning stopped, no longer descending. Heaven and earth once again fell into a deathly silence. The next second!
BOOM!!!
The colossal lightning ball directly exploded! The berserk energy, before it could even begin to wreak havoc, was blasted upwards into the heavens by the impact of Hakoku!
A fierce wind suddenly surged from heaven and earth, rushing straight into the clouds! In the middle of the black thunderclouds, a circular gaping hole, as massive as an island, was instantly blasted open!
The sound reverberated through the heavens! It spread throughout the entire Godland. Angel Island, Upper Yard – everyone looked up at the sky, all without exception staring dumbfounded!
"Th-th... The sky!"
"It's been blasted through!!"
Terrified by the shocking scene, everyone collapsed onto the ground, deeply feeling the insignificance of humanity between heaven and earth, how powerless they were before such a cataclysmic sight.
"God... It's God!"
"A true God has descended!"
Through the giant gaping hole in the middle of the thick black cloud layer, beams of golden warm light penetrated, sprinkling down upon this land, illuminating people's faces, making them feel as if they were in a golden fairyland.
Angel Island, atop the highest island cloud...
"Enel... has he finally been defeated?"
Gan Fall stared blankly at the sky, tears tracing paths down his aged face, flowing along his pure white beard. He covered his face, sobbing continuously.
"This country... is finally saved. Thank you... truly, thank you all so much."
In some ruins on the Giant Beanstalk, Wiper saw the scattered wreckage of the Ark Maxim and finally allowed his exhausted body to stop.
He lay weakly on the ground, looking up at the sky, panting heavily. Since stepping onto this island yesterday, he hadn't closed his eyes once, fighting continuously for a day and a night.
The numerous scars covering his body and the unconscious, slight twitching of his muscles all indicated his body was utterly exhausted.
The moment his spirit relaxed, Wiper's vision went black, and he fainted.
Nearby, on the upper ruins layer...
"We're back, everyone!" Luffy leaped down from the hawk, landing on the ground.
Hearing his voice, the others, still stunned, finally came back to their senses, their gazes shifting away from the Blue and Red Ogres.
"Ah... Lu-Luffy."
Nami, seeing Luffy safe and sound, stepped out from behind a broken wall, saying blankly, "Are you guys okay?"
"Heeheehee! We're fine!" Luffy replied with his usual cheerful grin.
They had also witnessed the battle on the Ark earlier. Enel's strength had made them tremble with fear. To think these two were actually fighting such a monster.
Flap~ Flap~
The hawk flapped its wings, descending slowly. Reiner quickly recalled his undead, jumped off, looked around, and yelled, "Chopper! Chopper!"
"I'm here! What's wrong, Reiner!?" Chopper, hearing the voice, jumped out frantically from behind Zoro.
"I'm injured, Chopper! Quick, take a look!"
Hearing this, everyone looked over worriedly. Chopper fumbled even more frantically, pulling out his medical kit. "Wait, Reiner! I'll check you now! Quick, lie down!"
Reiner rushed over, stripped off his blue shirt, and sat on the ground, revealing several charred black patches on his body beneath his clothes.
"Got zapped by Enel this morning... didn't feel much at first... but it suddenly got super itchy just now! Quick, treat me!"
"I know!" Chopper took out tweezers and a single-eye magnifying glass, gently pushing aside the charred outer skin on Reiner's body to observe carefully.
"Are you okay, Reiner?"
Nami bent down. When Enel appeared on the Merry that morning, Reiner had stepped forward to protect her and Chopper. Seeing his charred wounds now, she couldn't help but worry.
"If it weren't for leaving Blue Ogre and Red Ogre to protect us, you wouldn't have..."
"Um... actually, it's just a minor skin burn. And it's already self-healing."
Chopper sighed in relief, lifted his head, and said with his round eyes, "I'll put some medicine on it for you. With your physique, it'll probably be fine by tonight."
"You're yelling like that over such a small injury!?"
Nami gave him a palm-chop, but also sighed in relief, clutching her chest. "It's good you're okay. I thought you were seriously hurt."
"Is it really okay, Chopper!? Look, it's bleeding here! And here! You can even see the flesh inside!"
However, Reiner continued to yell frantically, not looking like he was faking it at all. His reaction made the others look at him strangely. This guy... could it be...
"Reiner... have you never been injured before?" Zoro couldn't help asking, rubbing his chin.
"No! You think everyone's like you guys, wrapped in bandages every day!?"
Reiner was instantly indignant. You all have weird bloodlines... I'm just an ordinary person! Seeing you guys get injured versus me getting injured myself, how can that be the same!?
"Is it really okay, Chopper?"
"Mm, relax," Chopper nodded with satisfaction. Reiner takes even the slightest injury seriously. A qualified patient.
"Phew~~ Since you said so, I'm relieved... Um, put a lot of medicine on for me," Reiner couldn't help adding.
But he looked down at the few charred patches on his body.
Enel! Possessing the strength to actually injure me... terrifying.
After Chopper applied the medicine and wrapped several layers of bandages, Reiner finally stood up, put his clothes back on, scanned the surroundings, and asked puzzledly, "Speaking of which, how come one person is missing?"
"Emmm... It's Usopp!!" Chopper's face turned ashen.
"Oh no! He still hasn't shown up," Robin looked down, glanced at Chopper, then propped her chin and said coolly, "Could he have been killed by a Priest?"
"Don't say such terrifying things, Robin!"
Deep within the forest...
"Sp-Sp... Special Random Star!"
Usopp panted heavily, struggling to shoot the pellet from his slingshot.
"L-l-left..."
Before him, Satori of the Forest, covered in wounds, was also half-dead from exhaustion, laboriously twisting his large body to the right.
Both were panting, tongues lolling out, continuously going back and forth, attack and defense shifting.
"You... damn... long... nose!"
"Bastard... don't... you dare say... nose..."
Swoosh~~ Bang!
A shirtless figure streaked across the sky and crashed heavily between the two, kicking up a thick cloud of dust.
As the smoke gradually cleared, revealing the person within, it was clearly the lifeless Enel.
"Lord Enel!" Satori cried out in panic, rushing forward. A palm suddenly appeared before his eyes.
"Hehe! Got my chance, didn't I!? Special Attack: Impact Dial!"
BANG!!
The powerful impact sent Satori of the Forest flying heavily. Usopp, seeing him motionless and confirming he had lost consciousness, finally let out a long sigh of relief.
"Phew~~"
His body went limp, and he collapsed directly onto the ground. Usopp, panting heavily, raised his slingshot.
"This great one... has won!"
In the sky, a hawk soared past.
Reiner: "."
Jumping down from above, he walked over to Usopp, reached out a hand, and pulled him up, praising him with a smile:
"Nice job, Usopp. Truly worthy of being a brave warrior of the sea."
"Reiner! Let me tell you! You have no idea how dangerous it was just now..."
"Good heavens! Such a thing actually happened!" Reiner exclaimed dramatically, while silently recalling the Katana and Chainsaw undead from the forest.
