Chapter 98 - A KING'S RETURN & A LIFE-CHANGING SURPRISE

The rhythmic vibration on Mirshad's ring pulled him from his light sleep. He slowly opened his eyes, adjusting to the dim glow of the helicopter's interior.

The pilot turned his head back with a smile.

 "We're almost there, brother."

Mirshad stretched, rolling his neck.

"Perfect. Finally stepping into my own hidden fortress."

This was his first time returning to the secret island—the most advanced, isolated stronghold on the planet.

He pressed his Sirius ring.

 "Sirius, did you inform them?"

"Yes, brother. Exactly 10 minutes before landing, as you ordered."

Mirshad smirked.

 "Any response?"

"No messages. But I believe they already know what happened."

Mirshad raised an eyebrow.

 "How do you know that?"

"I tracked some world leaders and presidents. They are already at the facility, waiting for you."

Mirshad sighed.

 "That's not good."

Sirius chuckled.

"Are you worried about Sophia's reaction, brother?"

Mirshad smirked.

"Exactly. How did you get that so perfectly?"

"Before I became part of your ring, your brothers installed me inside your brain, brother."

Mirshad's eyes widened.

"WHAT?! They installed you inside my brain? What the hell?"

Sirius laughed.

"Relax, brother. They later removed it. They realized if I stayed there and got hacked, they could control you. That would mean the end of the world."

Mirshad grinned.

"I already know who did it… Amir or Malik. Right?"

Sirius responded playfully.

 "Maybe."

Mirshad turned to the pilot.

"Did you hear that, brother? My brothers turned me into a robot first. They're absolute psychos!"

The pilot and Mirshad laughed together.

As the helicopter descended over the ocean, Mirshad looked outside.

For the first time, he saw his own hidden fortress from above.

The moment the helicopter reached the landing point, a massive helipad emerged from beneath the ocean, rising up.

Once they landed, the helipad started sinking underground again, hiding the location.

Everything on this island was underground.

Controlled by the most advanced technology and the most elite soldiers in the world.

As the doors opened, Mirshad looked outside.

His brothers stood there.

Sara and Sophia were beside them.

His brothers' faces showed discipline—but their eyes held deep concern.

But Sophia…

She looked like she was ready to destroy him with love.

The moment Mirshad stepped out of the helicopter, Sophia pushed everyone aside.

In seconds, she was in front of him.

She didn't say anything—she just looked at him.

She checked every inch of him—his face, his arms, his chest.

Then, tears fell from her eyes.

"Amir told me you were hit by bullets! I felt like my soul left my body until I saw you!"

Mirshad smiled softly.

"And now that you see me? How do you feel?"

Sophia wiped her tears and whispered.

"Now I feel like punching you."

Mirshad chuckled.

"Don't punch me, you might hurt yourself. I'm too strong."

Everyone laughed.

But without another word, Sophia grabbed Mirshad's face and kissed him.

In front of everyone.

Then, she hugged him tightly.

As Mirshad hugged her back, his eyes met Amir's.

Amir had a smirk, but also guilt.

 Mirshad's eyes narrowed.

"You made her scared, Amir. That means… I should punch you."

Just as Mirshad was about to walk away with his brothers, something caught his attention.

A faint hum. A glowing light.

He turned around—his sword was floating behind him.

 Like it was… waiting.

The brothers smirked.

 "You forgot something?" Malik teased.

Mirshad focused.

 "You're upset, aren't you, partner?"

The sword pulsed.

"I swear, I was coming to pick you up."

The sword glowed brighter.

"I'm not lying, okay? No need to argue."

The sword pulsed once more, then vibrated lightly—like it was annoyed.

Mirshad sighed.

"Fine, fine. No attitude. Just follow me, okay?"

The sword spun once in the air before gently floating beside him.

 "Happy now?" Mirshad smirked.

His brothers burst into laughter.

Malik shook his head.

"Did we just witness MRD having an argument… with his sword?"

Amir crossed his arms.

"Next thing we know, his suit will start demanding a salary."

Rayyan chuckled.

"Brother, before, you used to make boyfriends jealous by showing off your god-like beauty to their girls."

"Now you made a sword jealous. You're really impossible."

Everyone laughed loudly, even Sophia.

"Let's go inside before I have to explain to my sword why I didn't introduce it properly."

As Mirshad walked forward, the sword followed, glowing with satisfaction.

As they entered the facility, the world leaders greeted Mirshad, shaking his hand.

Praise for his war, the fear he created, and their readiness to help—everything as planned.

But before Mirshad could answer, his ring vibrated.

A message from Sirius:

"Brother, the pilot's son is here. Reveal the surprise. Give them a new life."

Mirshad looked around, spotting the pilot.

He was holding his son—laughing, playing, giving him love.

"Brothers, we have a beautiful moment to unwrap."

They all turned to him, confused.

Mirshad walked forward and called the doctor.

 "Take my blood."

Silence.

Sophia stepped forward, concerned.

"Are you insane?! Why are they taking your blood? Are you really okay?"

Mirshad smirked.

"Relax. Just get ready to cry."

The doctor extracted Mirshad's blood.

 "Now, take the boy's blood."

The pilot froze.

 "Brother… what's happening?"

 "Just trust me."

The doctor ran tests.

After a few minutes, he looked at Mirshad with wide eyes.

 "Sir… it's a perfect match."

The pilot was still confused.

Then, Mirshad lifted his hand and placed it on the child's head.

"Little warrior, you'll be fine. Just trust me, okay?"

The child nodded happily.

The doctor prepared the transfusion.

As Mirshad's blood entered the child's veins, everything changed.

The pilot watched in confusion.

Then—something incredible happened.

The child's pale skin started glowing with warmth.

His breathing became stronger.

His energy increased.

The doctors rushed to scan him again.

Results appeared on the screen.

The doctor stepped back, speechless.

 "It's… it's gone."

The entire room fell silent.

The pilot trembled.

 "What do you mean… gone?"

The doctor turned, eyes wide.

"The cancer. It's gone. His body is completely cured."

The pilot dropped to his knees.

He covered his face, sobbing uncontrollably.

Mirshad lifted him up gently.

 "Brother… don't cry."

"I just did what I could as a guardian of this family."

The pilot couldn't stop the tears.

The leaders, brothers, soldiers, even Sophia and Sara—all had tears in their eyes.

It wasn't just a miracle.

It was the most powerful moment they had ever seen.

Mirshad kneeled beside the child.

"Little one, you will grow up to be a great man—just like your father."

The boy smiled brightly.

The leaders stepped forward.

"This… this is what makes you more than a leader, MRD."

"This is what makes you a legend."

For the first time, the room wasn't filled with war or strategy.

It was filled with pure emotion, pure love.

And they all knew—this was a moment they would never forget.
